I'm just totally on edge about it, I cannot blame Leo because of the circumstances that pushed him into this, but I also would have thought that he would bring some changes, but so far its like nothing has changed, except for the fact that we have a coach that can actually button his suit jacket

I think many things have changed. Don't be ridiculous, we've only played 3 official games, no one can bench a player with Jankulovski's abilities right from the start. You gotta give him a ****ing chance!!!
Do you think Abate would ever have played under Ancelotti or even called back?

What abilities are these of Janku? The ones he left behind him 3 years ago?
Yes its only been 3 games, but I was talking about pre season, why didn't Albertazzi get a chance then? Its not like we were going to play any more worse with him on the pitch

And I will give him a chance, but he has to break out of the Carlo mold, it will only fail him like it failed Carlo for these past 3 years. And Milan cannot bare anymore humiliations, we've already been draged through the mud one too many times

Man you know I don't like today's Seedorf. What I am saying is even if I was to become the coach of Milan there is no way I would tell him to get the **** out of my face.
Leo is a new coach, he HAS TO try and work with the best he has. He cannot rule them out before they even fail.

You really can't compare Seedorf to Janku. Janku has always been an ok player, that is solid on a good day. Seedorf was and is still at times world class when he wants to be.
Yes he has to try and work with what he has, but that does not mean keep trying to do what Carlo has been doing, working with what you have doesn't meen keep pushing Janku into that LB area when it clearly isn't working, move Zambro over to the left and play Oddo on the right if he doesn't want to risk Abate/Albertazzi playing in defence. Play Janku in the midfield, instead of trying to make Ambro or Flamini into wingers when they're so far from that its ridiculous to even try. That's all Carlo tactics, we wanted something new, and Leo has options to try. And you're right its still very early to judge, but I see nothing different from Carlo's Milan, only Abate, but really he's better then most of our current mids aside from Pirlo, so really its not that big of a deal that he gets the chances to play

It's only 3 games. In all fairness Janku was amazingly awful against Inter but he has done well against Siena and Livorno. I see nothing wrong with this particular choice of Leo's.

He wasn't good, he did ok in both games, but you have to look at who we played, 2 of the worst teams in the league, he was badly exposed against Inter, and wasn't that solid against Livorno or Siena, especially against Siena, he got done by Maccarone a couple of times.
And like I said I agree with you that its still early but if this keeps up I'm expecting Leo to do something about it, not go the Carlo route and keep playing him until our eyes bleed and he has no choice but take him out after all the damage has already been done

What's more important is that players like these are ready to make the crucial step up. Right now, I've been impressed so far by what Darmian and Strasser have done whenever they've been called.
Zigoni looked a little lost in the pre-season, but that's ok.
If we can have Darmian, Strasser, Albertazzi and Zigoni, be ready to step into the team, that would be great news. Esp if Di Gennaro can turn out to be a pleasant surprise as well.

Agreed, he was really getting into the games, yes he missed a couple of good chances but getting into those positions is a very good thing to see from him.
Harmony was another that was given a lot of chances in pre-season, but he didn't really impress me, I don't understand why Leo put him in instead of Beretta, from the looks of it he's very talented and not just the typical Italian poacher

Yep, he's the one who pwned Seedorf.

He plays in MIDFIELD though, according to the roster on acmilan.com.
No news yet on how big brother Christian's team is doing. They're slow in updating the info about the youth squads.

So I saw Italy's first game in the U20s on replay ( a 0-0 draw with Paraguay, who are quite strong). Albertazzi was fielded as a centerback and I thought he was very good. Gazzetta also gave him full marks for his coverage and for his general play (he and the other cb, whose name escapes my sleep-deprived mind, were referred to in Gazzetta as 'centerbacks in the old Italian style' which was intended as a pretty significant compliment). The U20s beat Trinidad today, 2-1 and Albertazzi scored the first goal.
