Then we can celebrate. Even if they only scored once.

It was a defender who scored, by the way. Morfeo.

Another cause for celebration is the performance of the Berretti this year (this is the team under the Primavera). They're in the Scudetto finals for their age group where they will face the Berretti from Juve.

Darmian's at Padova -- but he broke his foot and will be out a month.
Albertazzi is still with the squad.
FYI, both DiGennaro and Paloschi have been called up for the U21s, who play today.
EDIT: And the Primavera beat the Ajax primavera yesterday, 3-1.

Padova are in Serie B right? Darmian should get some decent action with them i hope. The Primavera are looking to be quite good, i hope the players develop into world beaters. Have the new boys (Beretta is it, and Zigoni) been put with the Primavera?
Tennie
Aug 12 2009, 03:09 PM
Padova were just promoted into B, so yeah. Once healed, Darmian should get a lot of time.
Not sure where Zigoni and Berretta will be. Zigoni played a good bit during the summer tour with the grownups but he also played for the primavera in the recent tournament and scored against the Ajax kids yesterday.

I think Zigoni and Beretta will both train with the senior squad this season.
The U21's are tied 1-1 with Russia after 56'. Paloschi has scored for Italy.

We really need to get him back after this season, infact we shouldn't have let him stay at Parma, surely he's more useful then Boriello
dst
Aug 12 2009, 06:37 PM
I think it was a good move to loan Paloschi. He learned much more than he would have had he stayed especially since our coach was Ancelotti and his playing time would have been limited to 3 minutes per 38 games.
I believe in Borriello, he would have offered a lot if he was not out injured for so long... let's hope he can stat healthy this season.

FT Russia U21 3 - 2 Italy U21.
From the match report in Gazzetta, it seems that Albertino did rather well. They also praised the cb pairing. DiGennaro was fielded in the Pirlo position just in front of the defense (he's normally a trequartista) and according to Gazzetta, it didn't quite work. Also of note, De Silvestri was subbed out early in the first half due to injury.

I'm actually more impressed with Strasser. He's been making quiet but steady progress. Even when he played for us he didn't look as out of place as Zigoni did. It's about time maybe that he got loaned.

So, acmilan.com finally updated the player lists of the youth squads for this year.
http://www.acmilan.com/infopage.aspx?id=44552Christian Maldini plays for the Giovanissimi A (along with Valerio Fiori's twins) and is listed as a defender.
Daniel Maldini plays for the Pulcini 2001 and is listed as a

I mean think of it.
Galliani: "The management has declared that Pato is unselleable. But we still need to balance the books. Hence in order to meet the financial regulations as well as satisfy the fans by keeping their hero, we shall sell Christian and Daniel to Arsenal for 40 million Euros. In any case we have Nesta and Gattuso who can cover us in that position for many more years. I repeat this team is strong and built to win, and we shall challenge on all fronts this season. Milan shall always be a protagonist!"
What surprises more is not your efforts to piss me off but the countless hours you have spent studying gallianology.
