I think people just decide whether they think it's right or not depending on whether they like the player.

I'm not going to judge right/wrong on the issue: what a player does in his personal life is his business as long as it doesn't affect his performance on the pitch.

If Ronaldo indeed filmed the transvestite and what Tennie posted WAS the video in question...why did Ronaldo try to cover his face? And he was clearly not the one who was filming the whole thing...anyway, this is what I think:

Ronaldo goes to town and has fun and some drinks. Being a bit drunk, he doesn't know the girl his flirting with is really a boy, and when he discovers it he wants to pay him for keeping quiet about the whole thing. The tranvestite demands a LOT of money, and they eventually end up at the police station to sort the whole thing out.

After a week of silence, Ronaldo has returned to speak to the Press to explain the recent controversy in Brazil.

Speaking to the cameras of the Brazilian TV Rede Globo the Milan striker confessed his regret regarding the events that have involved him recently.

Reportedly, he had been blackmailed by three transvestites, who he had picked up outside a disco in Rio de Janeiro.

“I did something really stupid. Everybody can make errors and I made one,” he admitted.

“I didn't even realise they were transvestites. As a player I am generally on a different level, but I am a person who has his weakness and fears which makes me as normal as anyone else.”

Ronaldo also went on to reveal details regarding that crazy night in Rio.

“I had an argument with my girlfriend and then I went to three prostitutes to heal my sorrows. [my o my... ] I wasn't drunk and when we got to the hotel I realised they were men so I decided to kick them out.

“But at that stage they started asking for money. I offered them a liquidation and two accepted while the other asked for an incredible amount saying that he/she would reveal everything to the Press.”

Now the 31-year-old is looking to recover from his injury and hoping to forget about that night as soon as possible.

“I have to rebuild everything around me, it is like when a house gets blown away from a tornado. Now I have to start everything all over again.”

Despite the scandal, Ronaldo has kept his position as a Unicef peace ambassador although there are fears over the Brazilian's sponsorship deals with TIM and Nike.

There's nothing wrong with making a mistake, and it's a good thing to admit to it.

He's a weird character I believe... he's always been a little naughty on one side but he's not an arrogant person... that I like in him.

Neither have I, dst. Like you said, arrogant he is not. Ronaldo may be a bit of a spoiled kid, but he's a very down to earth person. His off field antics don't take anything off from his gloss on the pitch, though. There is only one when the guy is fit and firing - which just isn't as often as I would have liked.

I still think there was a further cash transaction, but at least things are going better.

Milan hitman Ronaldo has given the full version of events that led to a sex scandal involving three transvestite prostitutes.
