sadly i wasn't around for most of the times when Capitano was shattering strikers dreams. but even today every time i hear the word Maldini, my whole body just shivers and reminds me of what he has done for this club and whole football. he truly has been a big icon for football.

Ronaldo: Let us entertain you

Ronaldo has scored seven goals in 12 games for Milan and reveals the secret of his newfound form. “We’re having fun!”

His brace last night sent the Rossoneri on their way to a 3-1 victory over Cagliari – their seventh in eight rounds.

“I have been in good physical shape for a month now and have always scored goals in my career,” explained the striker.

“I am very happy with how I’m doing here and how the whole squad is progressing. We are having fun.”

Many thought it was a gamble bringing him in from Real Madrid in January, but Il Fenomeno has proved his critics wrong.

The only negative aspect of this move is the fact he is cup-tied, so Ronaldo cannot play in Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final against Manchester United.

“I will be cheering on my teammates and it’s a shame I can’t join them on the pitch. I am happy when I play, but I can’t do anything about this, so I have to sit back and bear it.”

Milan has changed Ronaldo in more ways than one, as he has shelved the trademark shaved head in favour of short dark hair.

“President Silvio Berlusconi asked me to let my hair grown and shave my beard instead. You know, if the President says something to you, then you have to listen,” he smiled. ohmy.gif cool.gif
