It's not an excuse. Especially with the players they have, and against such weak teams.

Logic ? U mean European Champions logic rolleyes.gif

All those that u have mentioned above are our second team, i.e. bench players, Duh.

Milan has a team, and I am surprised that u don't see it.

do you have any argument besides we CL winners over and over? thats ur response for everything. analyze our campaign and we pulled off 2-3 good games, i guess this makes us this amazing team rolleyes.gif

Porto in 03/04 they won the CL, i guess that made them the best team in the world rolleyes.gif

we've discussed this so many times, ya we pulled off some good results at the right time but in the end but we're out played by serveral teams on numerous occasions.

All I was asking from Milan was, a Juan, a Sneijder and a Saviola. My God that is not too much too ask. Seems like a very healthy summer campaign for a wealthy top team. With those buys and Pato in January, this team would have blossomed. It hurts even talking about it.

So what ? It isn't our problem that the team is this thin, it's Carlo's problem rolleyes.gif

This is the team that he wants to reach his targets.

NOONE thought this team could win the CL. You add Ronaldo and Emerson to that team and u expect me to not believe ?!

Well, I don't know about u but I believe in my team!

p.s. If ur one of them who wants to go on bashing the team, GO ahead, but don't expect me to follow suit. I have complete faith in the squad that we have!

I see things differently. Barca is the team with the most depth+quality ... So they are definitely a good example to throw around.

It's blantly obvious that's our problem as well because it effects the results as we have seen thus far.

you obviously have no cllue what bashing is especially when you live in a fantasy world and use a million " devilsmiley.gif " and " devil.gif ". and a great post for you is not necessarily someone who brought out good points but sumone who agrees with ur view. pointing out the flaws that inflicted the team over the past few years and watching our management dismissing them is insulting as a fan. You bash Gila all the time, i guess that makes you a milan basher?

This game, have you seen it? Milan did not play like this against Parma or Siena.

Valladolid were truly better, Reals apprach and football disgraceful. First half they managed to cross to Valladolids half for a few times, then in the second when they conceeded finally they started to look like a professional team.

Also, the referee was below zero. Salgado should have been sent off and a penalty shoud have been awarded for RV. Also many minor mistakes and stupid decisions. They changed the ref in second half (a supposed injury rolleyes.gif) but nothing did happen. Still, brutal tackling by Diarra, Ramos and the others without consequences. I started to watch the match as a mild Real chearer, but their football transformed me into a Valliadolid fan rapidly. Disgraceful this Madrid, really disgraceful. Damn Saviola and Nistlman. dry.gif

Calderón Held At New York Airport

Ramón Calderón was held in police custody at a New York airport after his name was mistaken for a person who is on the security services' list of suspicious people.

The Real Madrid president was visiting the United States to with wife when he was stopped and asked to accompany the police after being picked up at JFK Airport.

Calderón is reported to have been on his way to visit his daughter, according to Punt Radio, when he was stopped and taken to a holding room.

An administrative error has been blamed for the mix-up, but Calderón still had to spend three hours in custody while the authorities checked out his identity.

The Spanish Minister of the Interior, Alfredo Pérez Rubalcaba, who is a good friend of the Madrid supremo's wife and a big fan of the club, was called into help sort out the mix-up.

Everything was cleared up after agents were able to prove that his surname matched a person registered as 'suspicious' by the police.

When that had happened data confirming Calderón's innocence, including photos, were sent from the nearest consulate and he was allowed to go free.
I hope they did a full rectal exam on him... biggrin.gif

Sevilla-Espanyol is almost over.

Sevilla is doing awfully bad right now. I guess Puerta's tragedy and the thing with Dani Alves did make a lethal impact to the clubs stability,..

That does seem to be the reason ... But they didn't get a chance to breath. I mean, Milan then Arsenal then Barca; each thumping them on the go ...

I think they will do well on the long run, come the end of the season, they will be in the top 7 places of teh table. CL ?! Theyw ill be knocked out faster than Celtic IMO.

Even if they do pass the group stage (as I predict Celtic will) ... Whoever they will meet will knock them out. They just don't stand a chance in the CL. I would love to label them as the black horse, but realistically speaking they lack a lot.

Even as a Sevilla fan, I agree.

I think experience counts for a whole lot in this competition, and Sevilla just don't have it. If they get any half decen team in the round of 16, I think they're out. (I am even thinking I'd prefer them to finish 3rd in the group to put them back in the UEFA Cup - try and make it a hat-trick!)

I don't think Celtic will. From what I have seen this season from them ain't convinced me. Shakhtar has a better chance IMO. About Sevilla, it's about timing. Now they are bad form, bad in February/March it can be complitely different story. Of course they won't win the trophy but capable do some damage. For example last season, Lyon played great early on, but were very weak in winter. With Milan it was the other way around. In CL besides experience ,of course, you gotta be on your top when it counts - spring.

It is all up in the air misha ... You can never be too certain. It is their first time in the CL, it's a new environment, a new competition. Experience does count, if not in the players then most definitely in the coach !!

Lyon played several editions of the competition to start causing others trouble ... As I said, I would love to label then the dark horse, but they do lack something to go the distance in this competition. Maybe next yr or the yr after that they will prove a point, but now. Again IMO and it is all really up in the air right now ..

Celtic and Shakhtar ... Did that game finish in a draw ?! I don't know they both are good teams, I can't really choose between them, but considering Celtic made it through in the past, I would give them the nod to do it again ..

I said that of course experience is important, but when they are inform they can cause trouble to many teams. It's not like they gonna win the whole thing, but with players that they have and with a good draw, quarter final is possible. Uefa cup is surely not as good but still they won it twice ,playing good and now they are taking the next step. The Puerta death influenced them a lot and after some time we would see a much better game from them.

Shakhtar won 2:0 (could have been much more) and in a good form right now, while Celtic struggling.
Rossoneri7
Aha ... Well, we'll see. Sevilla have to really turn it on if they want to qualify or pass the Quarters (which is IMO a difficult task for them) .. Of course they wont win it !!! mad.gif Milan will win it devilsmiley.gif

I dont think Abbiati will be called back from loan after today's mistake. Although he made some good saves, the mistake was unforgivable.
