He's a striker, whoarethepatriots. And according to the primavera stats on acmilan.com, he's scored 7 so far for the primavera.
Dracoris
If theres one thing Leonardo can do, its scout. He must be pretty solid.
Bluesummers
Not only Leo but we have to give our youth coach some credit. Giovanni Stroppa is f***** quality, just quality.

So i'm guessing if we thrash Juve then the market is closed forsure with no doubts. Good to see Hottor being signed as he is going to be a world class player in the future.
JimboMilano
I've heard rumors about Milan setting their sights on Fernando Torres for the upcoming summer transfers. I am guessing this could be the option if we fail to sign Dzeko. I personally would love to see Torres in a Milan jersey more then Dzeko, but it's just me idk. And since Liverpool are in bad shape right now, falling to qualify for the CL next year would make Torres and Gerrard more willing to leave with the latest joining Inter, City or Madrid. I would welcome Torres without even thinking twice, but maybe I am just dreaming sleepysmiley03.gif

Well Jimbo, I'm sure you're not alone in your appreciation for Torres. He'd be welcomed with open arms by me. If Liverpool fail to reach 4th spot, then... maybe? Who knows. This rumour goes back a long time, so Milan's interest may be genuine.
whoarethepatriots
About this second Ghanaian we may be buying (Hottor i think he is called) i would suspect he is being brought in to settle Adiyiah. Would such a comment be unfounded?
m1ke
From what I've read, both players have lots of potential. Hottor was hot (urgh! tongue.gif) property, with the likes of Barca rumoured to be interested.
whoarethepatriots
I guess i shouldnt be complaining. Investing in youth is always good

News:

- siena and Reggina have offered to loan Di Gennaro until end of season. We have not given an answer yet.

- Wolfsburg officials met with Galliani this week at Milan to talk about potential Dzeko sale. Discussed Price is rumored to be around the 30 Million euro mark.

- Gago has declined a transfer offer for June to Milan. He is going back to Argentina.

- Brazillian CB david Luiz is linked with us.

- Benfica is interested in buying ronaldinho.

- After the meeting with Huntelaar's agent; Milan and the agent have both agreed for Hunt to stay. He was promised more playing time and thats the main reason for agreement. This means inzaghi will probably recieve nothing in the upcoming months.

- Rafinha is now priced at 14 M euros.

- De assis (Ronnie's agent) will be coming to milan in the next few days to discuss a renewal for dinho. We'll be offering him an extention until 2013 with probably a lower wage.

- fillipo Galli (youth director) announced today that milan will be moving at least 6 primavera players to the first team in 2011. They will be used on a consistent basis and not brought up just to chill, which explains why we've been signing youth like crazy. I'm geussing our summer market will consist of mostly youth signings.

- Hottor is done, will be transferred Monday.

Thanks blue. Nice to know about the youth movement. Surprised about Gago.

Anytime cap'n, i'm really happy too that players like Verdi, albertazzi, zigoni, baretta will be given a shot.

I'm guessing he's had a bad exp in europe and wants to go back. But will he get his desire? Its hard to tell if a south american club can afford him.

Three minor corrections to translations of the above stories:

* The Gago thing is all hypothetical, with Marca saying he might be loaned to Boca for 6 months.
* The Galli story is saying that Milan's goal is to move the primavera players up, not that they for sure will be. Minor difference there.
* It's Siena and Padova who've made offers for Di Gennaro, who last year played for Reggina.
* There's also a story suggesting that Huntelaar will be used as a counterweight in the Dzeko deal.

Now they're running a story quoting Wolfburg director Dieter Hoeness as saying there's no truth in the stories about a dinner meeting with Milan to discuss Dzeko.
Bluesummers
Well either way he's coming here, whether they meet now or after the WC is irrelevant. They can't fight the player's desire to move.
kurtsimonw
If he has a contract they can. Though Platini or Blatter will probably come out with that 'slave' rubbish again.

I don't get wolfsburg; whats the point of keeping a player who doesn't want to stay? Shevchenko was a much bigger star and argubaly one of the top 5 players in the world; yet when he asked to leave we sold him.

Imo, no club should be allowed to keep a player against his will.

News:

- Juve have rejected Chelsea's approach for Iaquinta

- Huntelaar will either be exchanged for Dzeko or sold in the summer in order to transfer Dzeko.

- Palermo's edison Cavani is linked with us incase Dzeko deal falls apart. Estimated tag=30 M

- Chelsea have bid for 40 M for Dzeko

- Cagliari have offered loan for Senderos. Astori may end up here as a result.

- Sacchi has given Leo some credit saying to gazetta that leo has made a masterpiece of Milan.

- Galliani and Fillipo Galli had a meeting regarding the youth policy. Rumours suggest Milan are going to be dipping heavily for youth in the next market.

- Bologna are interested in Kaladze and Di Gennaro. They are offering a 6-month loan for Kaladze while nothing specific is said about Di gennaro.

- ilsussidiario.net is suggesting that Dida, Roma and Abbiati are on their way out come June. Our number one target is Marchetti while Frey will become an option if Fiorentina do not qualify for Europe. Viviano will remain the third option if the above two are not possible. Abbiati will be sold to Fiorentina.

- Hottor says he is excited to be here and really admires Desailly and Ambrosini.\

- Lavezzi signs new 5 year contract with Napoli

- Mourinho says he will be watching milan and Juve quietly. (not sure what this means lol)

He has a running contract on which he agreed. Why shouldn't his employer insist on this contract? Dzeko is an employee just as any other guy.

yes but he no longer wants to remain at his job. Why shouldn't he be allowed to cancel his contract?
LaPalma
Because there seems to be no exit clause, besides the one we already know of. That a club has to pay 40 million to get him.

Wow...you're quite fast in replying btw biggrin.gif

I thought he signed a new contract in the summer with Wolfsburg that has an exit clause? Maybe i'm wrong I'm not sure but I thought thats why he didn't come here last summer. He was to play one year in CL with wolfy and if they did not qualify for the round of 16 the clause would become active or something along those lines.

Then don't sign a contract for that long. Wolfsburg are well within their rights to keep him, it's Dzeko's fault for signing a contract. Players are too protected nowadays.

NEWS:

- Castelazzi (sampdoria's keeper) is out for a while so they have joined the race for Storari. He is going to be leaving this month on a 6-month loan to either genoa, livorno, or sampdoria.

- Chelsea have gotten serious about Dzeko. We might entering a bidding war and wage war for Dzeko after the summer. Their bid of 22 M in november was rejected. Their bid of 40 M was rejected last week. They haven't given up and will go in full pursuit in the summer after the wc.

from gago:

"I never said I wanted to leave Real Madrid and neither did my agent. The truth is there is so much said I don't want to analyse it. I feel good, I'm calm and I only think about continuing to work to try to earn a place, nothing more," he told Goal.com

"I do not see myself anywhere else. I know that today I have a contract at Real Madrid and I have to earn a place, so I must fight to earn a place in the team."

"I must continue working day by day, week after week, and know that every time a chance comes I must take full advantage."

(goal.com only for this)

There will probably be no more transfers in but you might see kaladze and storari leave.
Jack Sparrow
That's to be expected. What's the word on Abbiati? Is he fully fit again?

in news that hopefully is true but realistically isn't, Wolfsburg are intrested in Jankulovski and kaladzhe.

makes sense, I mean realistcally we can't pay them all that much money so we might have to include a few players to knock the price tag down. If hunt doesn't want to go there we might have to look at another approach.

Yup he is.

He'll probably play on Wed or Roma.

Tuttomercatoweb is quoting Galliani as saying that both Storari and Roma will stay with the club next year.

They're also suggesting that Pippo may be on his way out.

They also think that Bologna is interested in loaning Di Gennaro.
Darunia
Loan move would be good for Di Gennaro, he won't get very much playing time here.
Tennie
Tuttomercatoweb is quoting the Daily Mail (an English tabloid), saying that Spurs have put in an offer for Flamini, who wants more playing time in advance of the World Cup.
Dzeko
Ancelotti gives up: Dzeko wants only Milan

After challenging ‘his' Milan for Dzeko, Carlo Ancelotti has been forced to raise the white flag. According to today's edition of the Daily Mail, Chelsea has little chance of getting the Bosnian centre forward of Wolfsburg, who has always expressed a willingness to wear the Rossoneri shirt.

Galliani and Braida would have already initiated negotiations with the German club with a view to a transfer for next season. In addition to a cash payment, the transaction may also include some players; Kaladze, Jankulovski and Huntelaar are possible names.

Don't blame him. And yeah I heard about Flamini being linked to Spurs. Doubt that would have the same stigma as Campbell to Arsenal.

I just think players who are above 6 ft and have a good physical presence will always suceed in serie a ... dzeko has the physical presence preety similar to ibrahimovic although ibra was more skillfull and dzeko is more of a poacher and header of the ball

Isn't Huntelaar over 6 foot? He's been.. let's just say less than impressive so far.

if we have to pay 40 mill for dzeko, I rather stick with hunter and give paloschi chance when pippo retire

if wolfsburg wants kaladze and janku, they should pay for it, and we can use the money for other else, I think Milan should play hard ball a bit to wolfsburg since they and dzeko have nothing to sell other than previous season glory

also as per goal.com,
-Ederson also really wants milan ahead of any other team.
-We are tracking joe cole (haha)
-liverpool also want milan janovonic(or wtv he's called)
-boriello might get a call up for la Nazzionale (good for him and us, with juve struggling Lippi wont be able to justify calling up the entire team this year)

Makes you wonder, when did a player ever say "I WILL ONLY PLAY FOR INTER" lol

It's good if he wants to stay with Milan, even on loan. I think we're going to try to include him in a money + player(s) swap for Dzeko though.

Report: Real Madrid Star Kaka Set For Milan Return?
QUOTE
Speculation is rife that Kaka may head back to Milan, but the idea appears pie in the sky...

Real Madrid star Kaka could be set for a shock return to Milan, according to Sportal.it.

The report claims former Rossonero Kaka has been highly criticised by the Spanish media following his performance during the 1-0 loss to Athletic Bilbao.

Speculation of a return is now rampant after AS.com wrote a critical report on the Brazilian, saying: "Kaka's work rate is light years away from what made him one of the best players in the world."

The Spanish paper also referred to his €65 million price tag as worries continue over Kaka's form.

"He is not able to make a difference and the coach Manuel Pellegrini is alarmed and doesn't know what to do with him," claimed AS.

This has led to Italian media claiming Kaka could be pushed out of the club and made to return to Milan.

In their report, Sportal.it adds: "Milan fans can begin to start dreaming, as sometimes players do return."

Despite the speculation though, the idea being floated around about Kaka's return seems highly unlikely. Furthermore, neither club nor player have passed comment about an exit.

Kaka signed a mega six-year deal with Los Merengues in June 2009.
