Dinho has already said he likes playing behind the two strikers, so seems to me they should put Pato on the left, Hunt on the right and stick Dinho behind them feeding them balls.
I don't think we should adapt our tactics to what Ronaldinho wants though, it should be the other way around.

It's not about what Dinho wants but getting the best of our 3 up front, because like it or not, as of right now Dinho is our only playmaker aside from Pirlo, but he doesn't count as he plays in a totally different area of the pitch.
And imo, to get the best out of those 3 we need to have Pato playing on the left wing cutting inside, Huntelaar in a central area and Dinho feeding them passes, and this can only happen if we play a 4-3-1-2 instead of the 4-3-3 which is clearly not working that well. Abate helps a bit though I really hope we see a lot of him next season. And if this fullback issue does not resolve itself then we should try doing what Tennie has been saying move Zambro over to the left and let Abate play as RB

I have been gone a few months and the club has descended into chaos? Manager gone, two of our best players gone/retired, only new signings were freebies and youth player recalls, and Favalli got a new contract? This is exactly what i have been fearing, but i wont commit suicide as the mercato isnt closed yet
And who is Zigoni? i dont recall him playing for our Primavera. Also im happy that Abate and Di Gennaro haven't been uploaded, although there is still time for the management to bundle them in a co-ownership with someone in the last minute Paloschi style

Welcome back!

As CMF said, we also got Huntelaar... hope that will be enough for you to forget about killing yourself. Zigoni is a highly rated youngster (a forward) who we bought... "for peanuts" from Treviso... he and Berreta (same: highly-rated, forward, peanuts although he's here in a co-ownership deal - yeah we cannot even afford youngsters! - from AlbinoLeffe) will be senior team members this season (if they're not loaned out) but don't expect to see them play.

Hunterlaar should be good (although if that means Borriello gets sacrificed without even being given a chance then i am against it). Why oh why are we pinning our hopes on Ronaldinho? Was Ronnie brought in as a Kaka replacement? thats like bringing in Barthez to replace Buffon. Also i find it somewhat amusing that the only player in Europe of truly replacing Kaka in the system we play was ironically owned by us an sold too. I am sure everyone in Milan knew Kaka was going to be sold, why then did they not say to Gourcuff that he would be a first teamer. Sigh, my rant is futile anyway.
Our pre season results have not been encouraging to say the least, what i do want to know is how are Abate and Di Gennaro doing in the friendlies, is it promising? Hurray for investing in youth, but sadly it is 3-4 years too late to save the current side.

Fishdoll is biased but he thinks Abate has done quite well. Others do too, as the resident MU fan in my office asked me about him and commented that he looked quite good. Just where Abate fits into the formation (if one's even been settled on) is something of a question.
DiGennaro has been less sparkly, but the passing in the forward third has been cack really, in a lot of the games. That said, he did have a beauty of a free kick in one of the early friendlies.

Di Gennaro is younger i suppose and has spent less time training with the big boys. I expect he has a few years before he starts maturing properly. Im glad to hear that Abate is doing well, as he always plays well when i watch him play for the Azzurini

So training went on as usual today, good news being that Seedorf and Pippo trained with the team.
Here's the call up list for the TIM trophy games tomorrow:

Abate, Flamini, Gattuso, Di Gennaro (?midfielders)
Huntelaar, Inzaghi, Pato, Borriello, Ronaldinho (?strikers)
Zigoni, Strasser, Oduamadi, Ikande, Albertazzi, Scampini, Verdi (kids)
No Ambro, no Seedorf, no Pirlo.

WOW! that is terrible.
I'd go with this line up:
Storari
antonini-nesta-onyewu-favalli
abate-flamini-gattuso
pato-huntelaar-ronaldinho
4-3-3

This is why I've been saying we need another mid, Pirlo gets injured and we're royally screwed...
I think best formation to go for would be
Oddo--Nesta--Onyewu--Antonini
Flamini--Rino
Abate--Pato--Dinho
Huntelaar
scrap the 4-3-3 we do not have the mids for it

Here are the call ups for the cugini:
Toldo, Julio Cesar, Orlandoni;
Materazzi, Rivas, Samuel, Chivu, Santon, Caldirola;
Stankovic, Quaresma, Thiago Motta, Vieira, Krhin, Cambiasso, Obi, Mancini, Crisetig;
Milito, Balotelli, Alibec, Destro.
And those for the gobbi:
Buffon, Chimenti, Manninger;
Ariaudo, Caceres, Cannavaro, Chiellini, De Ceglie, Grygera, Legrottaglie, Molinaro, Alcibiade, De Paola;
Felipe Melo, Poulsen, Salihamidzic, Tiago, Marrone;
Amauri, Iaquinta, Immobile, Yago, Giuseppe Giovinco
So neither of them are exactly bringing full strength squads either.
EDIT: the games begin at 8:30 Italy time, not sure who plays first. No idea of streams but there are bound to be some. Eurosport Italia will be doing text commentary.
