12-0 over 2 games.
Sad thing is it'll probably work out being a positive forcing us to spend in Jan.

I didn't think it was that bad, even with the 8-0 it was just a one off result but to let Gareth Bale get a hat-trick against you.... that's just all kinds of wrong.

I had an American watch it with me. It was the first football game he'd ever seen start to finish. Said it wasn't too bad but that he couldn't stand Bale. His opinion was basically "He sums up why everyone in America hates soccer".
It's just Lambert's philosophy and I don't mind it too much. We're going to get beaten because of how he wants us to play, but we'll also win games. Last season at Anfield we went 1-0 up and McLeish basically had us defend with 11 players for the remainder, it finished 1-1. This season we took a 1-0 lead and just attacked Liverpool for 80 minutes, it finished 3-1. We'll get battered some weeks, but we'll also win more games once Lambert has a few windows to put a team together. Ultimately wins and defeats generally work out better than mostly draws with some defeats.

Or we can just keep getting battered by any scrub team that shows up.

So, Lampard scored a brace today which helped Chelsea win 2-1 against Everton. Maybe the club should re-evaluate its strategy for getting rid of him.

0-3 to wigan, I mean don't get me wrong but Wigan are not ever the strongest of PL clubs (infact seen some say they are suprised how they aren't even relegated by now) so pretty... yeah
Been a real bad 2-3 weeks for villa, XD . If this had been Zamparini or co, Lambert's job would be a Mushed corpse with burn marks in a coffin being eaten by mutated millipeed ants now.

Why did Chelsea sign Marin? Looks terrible and should've been sent off in the first minute. Useless Fing Chelsea losing at home to QPR.

Didn't see him much in Germany (we basically only get Bayern, Dortmund games on ESPN mostly). Benitez rotation hurting the team. I think resting a few players is fine, but Mata, Hazard, Cole all on the bench is a bit much.

I did hope Better for Marin at here but Just seems he's not prospered like Hazard or Mata here, heard few rumors of him going to Bayer Leverkusen In someway to Help us get Schurrlie (however his name is spelt) (May as well call him shirley :3).
Fillipo Simone
Jan 3 2013, 02:54 AM
It's Shürrle.
There's a problem with Marin. I became aware of it watching Bonhof (M'Gladbach vice president) denying every possible rumor about Marin coming back to Borussia (not in the Galliani way, but with a truthful and passionate approach of not getting related with that player). So he may have some psychological issues as well.

He's class on the pitch, great signing with in reality no real talent around him. Don't like him as a character though.
Finishing isn't great but most of his chances come from his creativity.

I think the whole racism problem with Evra.

Jan 6 2013, 10:38 PM
His general dirty play, diving, cheating, racism, etc. is why I hate him. Today the fact he cheated with a handball to score, then kissed his hand in front of the Mansfield fans. That's very low. I'm not expecting him to say it shouldn't have been a goal, it's the officials fault for not seeing it. But to act in such a way towards a none-league team, very poor.
The Premier League will be a better place without the likes of Suarez and Tevez.

Jan 6 2013, 10:57 PM
I think it's more disappointing today that he would cheat and rub it in. I really am sick to death of hearing about Hillsbrough personally, but Mansfield did some nice things in memory of it - and Suarez goes and does that.

Jan 7 2013, 10:09 PM
I agree on most points, though he does that celebration everytime he scores, certainly this season. If the media are drawing on that then they are just completely moronic, watch any goal he scores certainly this season and he will do the same thing.
For example.

Jan 7 2013, 10:40 PM
He doesn't always do the hand, but he has done it before yeah, against Chelsea also. But I think it was that he prolongued it and also pointed to his hand which doesn't help!
Oh well, just makes it more enjoyable when things go against him. He was practically crying to the ref against us as we kicked the **** out of him all game and he got nothing.

I agree to some extent. A player who acts a disgrace numerous times is always going to get extra hate each time. If a player dives for the first time, yeah he'll probably get away with it somewhat as opposed to a Bale/Suarez who'll get tonnes of hate.

To many kiddies playing... also a mix of players who simply arent ready , arent good enough and ones that simply couldnt give a **** about playing on any given day and it looks like theres absolute no leadership on the pitch from what i saw pretty much the same comparison could be said about Milan at this point. Sad time for Villa.

Injuries are a killer for us at the moment, then El Ahmadi's with Morocco at the ACN. Think it's 8 players we're missing, 7 are first teamers, 1 is a kid. We need Vlaar/Dunne back and we need a new LB - Joe Bennett may come good, but right now he's being beaten for fun by anyone we play.

Tom Huddlestone from Spurs, Kelvin Leerdam from Feyenoord (would be the 3rd Fayenoord player Lambert's signed!) Phillipe Coutinho from Inter and a few kids. We need experience really. There's 4 or 5 of our kids who I think will be quality, problem is that's a few years away. Can't have a team with an average age of 23 playing every week.
