It doesn't matter how many goals they scored today (Lamapard's goal is one of the 1000). They midfield is still great but atack lock mucj different.
Sure Drogba can score but without Sheva making his movement and clearing spaces for him he would never scored as much this year.
And without Sheva their dimond doesn't work.They switched to their old tactic in the second half.

I only watched the Chelsea Barca game, except for the last 10 minutes. The first half was tidious, everyone diving and faining injuries, it was starting to get on my nerves.

Deco's goal was great, Lampard's what a goal that was, at first I didn't even notice that it went in until I saw the ball in the net, I really though it went wide.

Gudjhonsen's goal was nothing special, but R10's assist was amazing, almost reminded me of how he tricked Nesta (or Kaladze?) to lob that ball to Guily, because of the way he tricked Boularouz (spelling?)

I missed Drogba's goal but from what I hear it was nothing special.

I don't think Chelsea where playing that much good football in this game, I liked Barca's game better, it was reminiscent of last season. The match at the bridge was a fantastic one by them but this one was nothing special on their part, they reverted back to their old ways.

What a player. Attacking wise he's amazing: He knows when to come up (this is very very important) and knows perfectly well how to move (on and off the ball) when he does so (...). Defensively (even though he wasn't actually tested last night) he was good but there is where his fault lies, as he's very slow to come back. He's not slow in speed ofcourse he does it intentionally ... But this is the least important thing, bring him here and he'll learn from the experts !!

Comparing him to Alves ... I'd say Alves is better right now cause it is defending that comes first when it comes to RBs and he is rock-solid !! I think Alves is the best RB in the world right now.

On the other hand Nélson Augusto Tomar Marcos is better in attack and his style is so f@cking awesome (and incomparable to any RB) that makes me wanna cry !! I wish we had him

Yup. Luisão "was rumored" for Real Madrid 2 or 3 times. Specially 1 year ago. What I think is impressive on him is his spirit. I mean, he can be brazillian but he's probably the true "captain" of Benfica. Well, he gave Benfica the last title (on a air-ball vs. Ricardo , the keeper from Sporting). He's the best CB in Portugal I believe. He's always called for the brazillian NT, he was at the World Cup and now with Dunga. And he's 25 so, not old for a CB.

Nelson is still young (23) and will improve a lot I believe. (He was the MOTM yesterday, btw)

Katsouranis is a very good player. Everybody likes him down here. Benfica is playing in a 4-4-2 diamond like Milan and he's doing a great job. Impressive.

That Porto issue is b/s. It was nothing, only the Porto fans are angry about the fact that their little star (Anderson) will be out for 4 months. But Katsouranis did nothing. Everybody saw and nothing will happen to him, I'm sure.

He's good. Not as GOOD as Nelson. He's more defensive. And yes, I think he's Chelsea's domain.

The problem of Sporting is that they've a deal with ManUtd for their young players. (Since Cristiano Ronaldo...)

Simão is more like a winger. Not a pure midfielder.
