Inter - Bayern
. It's a disgrace that they are wearing that badge on their shirt. "The Italian Champions" can't even get off the mark in their group. Totally outplayed by Bayern

Bremen - Barca: I was rooting for Bremen and think they totally deserved it.

If we can take nine points from the next three games, then we can go to Bayern with a lot of confidence," the Argentine was quoted as saying in La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Of course, if we manage to finish a match with 11 men it will make life easier for ourselves, too."
The Inter coach, Roberto Mancini, also tried to put a positive spin on the result, reminding his players that back-to-back wins in their next two matches against Spartak could lift them to second place.
History, however, suggests that a good run in the competition is unlikely. Only four teams have managed to qualify from their group after losing their first two matches — Dynamo Kiev in 1999-2000, Newcastle United and Bayer Leverkusen in 2002-03 and Werder Bremen last season — and none of them went further than the last 16.

The footballing world is set to come to a standstill on Wednesday night, as yet another edition of football's arguably biggest contemporary rivalry is played out.
In less than two years, the Chelsea-Barcelona saga has managed to reach the crescendo that is associated with games such as Milan-Inter, Arsenal-Manchester United, and Real Madrid-Barcelona.
Very few clashes today can generate the kind of interest that the prospect of Mourinho and Rijkaard coming head to head yet again can.
Claims of coaches influencing referees, of manipulation of the pitch, controversial red cards, controversial goals - just four games have given us almost everything.
Chelsea will not forget the two red cards, shown to Drogba and Del Horno, just as Barcelona will not let go of that controversial Terry header 18 months ago, when Carvalho had an arm around Valdes, or the way the pitch was allowed to deteriorate.
There will be no letting go, only hitting back!
Not A Knock-Out Tie?
Both camps have their arsenal ready, with Mourinho insisting that his charges will do much better than they did six months ago, and Rijkaard carefully marshalling his troops over the weekend so that everyone is fresh for the London game.
That neither team will be knocked out of the competition just yet, makes both sides more comfortable to express themselves.
That said, the pressure is no less, with Chelsea seething for revenge following last year's exit, and having to sit an watch as Barcelona won the final in Paris. Barca have just as much at stake. Despite deserving last year's win, they know they need to win again, and without anyone getting sent off, to put detractors firmly in their place.

Reserve team keepers Hilario and Makabu Ma Kalambay have been included in the squad, in place of Cech and Cudicini, both of whom were rules out for the Barcelona clash with head injuries sustained against Reading (Cech for much longer following surgery). Other than that, he has all his main players available.
Doubts remain over whether he will play Robben alongside Drogba and Shevchenko, looking to trouble Barcelona with pace, or stick with all four of Makelele, Essien, Lampard and Ballack in midfield looking to muscle Barcelona off the ball. A lot will depend on whther or not they want to adopt a safety first approach, but either way, a star-studded line-up is on the cards.

Gio van Bronckhorst, Edmilson, Puyol, Zambrotta and Deco will all return to the first eleven for this clash, having been rested over the weekend (though Zambrotta was forced to come on for Belletti). Ronaldinho, Messi, Xavi, Valdes and Marquez are also set to start, with Iniesta, Giuly and Saviola on the bench, though it is being suggested that Rijkaard could opt for the Saviola surprise.

Messi: So much has been said since that incident which saw Del Horno sent off. His return at the Nou Camp was cut short by a hamstring injury, as he limped off in tears. That will be at the back of his mind as he steps onto the Stamford Bridge pitch – though that is not what Barcelona would choose to call it.
Terry: Chelsea's heart and soul, in every sense of the word, will once again have to rally the entire team around him, particularly with the security of Petr Cech missing behind him. So much will depend on captain courageous.
Gudjohnsen: It is almost ironic that his retturn is labelled in some quarters as a reunion (imagine Figo's reunion with the Nou Camp, or Luis Enrique's at the Bernabeu) and you will know what I mean. The iceland international should start, though it remains to be seen which way that will work out for Rijkaard.
Hidalgo: The 30-tear-old Portuguese keeper was snapped up from Porto over the summer, where Mourinho had been impressed by his credentials during his spell there. He will now be thrown into the deep end, on a stage where every single error can be treated as almost criminal. Cech's shoes will be difficult to fill, and a trial by fire awaits!

Agreed. I don't really like Chelski at all, but Barca ist just AHHHH. All their supporters are so unbelievable arrogant these days, just because they won that stupid CL final last year...So I hope Chelski will win, Sheva won't score anyway...

Seriously... I'm starting to wonder if he is playing like this on purpose... But no... It's very clear that he has lost his confidence completely... He is pretty much Chealsea's weak link... everytime they pass the ball to him, he loses out... Pretty much like Oliveira... Except Oliveira is starting to improve game by game... And ES is going straight downhill... I just wanna see Abramovic's face...
Maybe he is not scoring but he is moving very well and doing a lot of work that not necessary visible. Without him Drogba wouldn't have scored that much for sure. BTW his team are in first team in both competitions and his goals will come. It's unavoidable!!
