I don't think so...

Why would they try to da any favours for Milan?? I think even if we ask them for one of their primavera players they will want some kind of option or swap for Kaka.

If the Romaldo deal does in fact go through then the only explanation I have for it happening is that R9 bought out of his contract with his own money, like he id at Barca and at Inter.

That's exactly what's going to happen wink.gif

And they're not favoring us, they just want to get rid of both R9 and Cassano!

Bronzetti: "Ronaldo said that he wants Milan, he said it 4 times. He just wants Milan. Today we had no meeting because Calderon wasn't in Madrid. Tomorrow and Sunday, we'll make some decision. Monday, we'll tell it to Ronaldo."

"Milan? Now, it's not up between Milan and Madrid. It's between Ronaldo and Madrid."

"Inzaghi for Cassano? Sell a player that can play the CL for one that can't play that competition?" (No chance)

Moratti snubs Rossonero Ronie

Massimo Moratti is upset at Ronaldo’s decision to join Milan, but insists Inter “have better players.”

“We had a past together, but it seems that our present and future are very separate,” sighed the oil baron.

During over two years of injury problems, Moratti stood by him ‘like a father’ and was bitterly disappointed when he demanded a switch to Real Madrid in 2002.

“I haven’t spoken to him in a while, above all because in this time we have bought better at Inter,” added the President in a snide aside.

“He is free to choose whatever he wants and I wish him well as a man. Obviously, I can’t say I hope he does well in his sport right now!” ohmy.gif

Now Il Fenomeno is on the verge of joining their hated rivals Milan on the other side of the San Siro.

“It’s not up to me to comment on the situation at another club. I admit it certainly doesn’t make me happy to see a player who was so important for Inter aim to end his career with Milan.

“From a personal level, or at least a professional one, I can understand that this is fuelled by necessity for both Milan and Ronaldo.”

yeah yeah moratti you have better players. Man this guy just pisses me off, he has one good season with players and he thinks hes the world's number 1 manager in the world's number 1 club. Few years ago they were praying that we wouldn't start Sheva. Jeez, i cannot wait till juventus come back to serie A and show them what it means to be 3rd again mad.gif On the ronaldo issue its none of his business and i dont think milan honestly cares about his oppinion. He will do well with milan cause he gets playing time and will score devilsmiley.gif . Cannot wait till pirlo hooks this man up devil.gif

Ronaldo 'ferociously determined'

Adriano Galliani assures Ronaldo is “ferociously determined” to join Milan, but the club refuses direct contact with Real Madrid.

“I hear it said that Real are waiting for my trip to Madrid. I intend to clarify that Milan have no intention of starting negotiations with the Spanish side,” explained vice-President Galliani in today’s ‘Gazzetta dello Sport’.

“The deal only went this far because we were assured Ronaldo is counting on terminating his contract before January 31, so there is no need for our intervention. We’ll wait patiently until that evening when the transfer window closes and it’s up to Ronaldo to let us know if he’ll be free by that date.”

The feud between the two clubs stretches back to the summer, when the Rossoneri reported Real Madrid to FIFA for an illegal approach towards Kaka.

Now it’s claimed that the Merengues are equally furious at this latest snub and are purposefully dragging their heels on the Ronaldo affair, pushing the meeting with his agents back to Monday and setting a £7m price-tag.

“I see Ronaldo determined to join Milan. In fact, he’s ferociously determined,” continued Galliani. “We have had no contact with Real and there will be none, so any transfer gossip that they’ve requested Pippo Inzaghi or any other player is out of the question.”

The Rossoneri are struggling in Serie A, but are willing to play the waiting game for first choice reinforcements Ronaldo and Massimo Oddo.

“There is just one difference between the two cases, as with Oddo we are continuing our advanced negotiations with Lazio President Claudio Lotito, where just £2m separates request and offer. However, we are also willing to wait until the market closes on that deal.

“There is a common philosophy here – if Oddo and Ronaldo arrive at the conditions we have set, then we will all be happy. If not, then we will continue the season with the players we have and clearly we’d be content with that too.”

I mean he said the exact same thing in the summer .. when he was after R9 and Oddo, what happened after that, Milan continued w/o them. Now they approach again, so both Madrid and Lazio know that if they dont accept Milan's offer now, they'll loose their respective players for free

I guess i agree with what galliani is doing but if i were in his position i'd pay straight up. It's too risky of a deal he's pursuing right now. If milan dont get him now, they wont get him in the summer i know that much forsure. It would be very good for him to come now so he has this season to adjust to italian league and adjust to milan. Its not really they're wanting to hustle us, its just were being a bit inconciderate. We want him for free and were not gonna pay madrid any money because we have certain "feelings" towards them, which should be kept out of TW but it is not. Galliani should be hunting down someone who can be shevas replacement sooner or later and he should actually offer more than 10 mil for him. Huntelaar aint bad.

say when man utd, for instance would want him, they would let him go for nothing, cause he's nothing to RM now.
KillerMax
Even though Ronaldo can't play in the CL, he might be able to help us in the championship and Real know that we are going for the fourth spot and could be their direct rivals next season. They basically hate us and fear us in every aspect and the fact that we have Kaka and they can't absolutely do nothing about it KILLS them. So, long story short, they prefer not to reinforce us because 1.Kaka might leave if we don't make the CL. 2. we could be their direct rivals in the CL next year.
