The Rossoneri could sign the Brazilian striker already in January according to what has been reported by the Spanish daily newspaper AS this morning.

Real Madrid and Milan continue negotiating on various fronts, the latest of which is the possibility of Ronaldo returning to Italy to join the Rossoneri in what would be considered as a shock move considering the Brazilian’s Nerazzurro past.

Always according to the AS, this is a move by the Spanish giants to pave the path for luring Kaka to Madrid by the end of the season after the first negotiations in the past summer had failed, leading to a war of words between the two clubs.

Things between the two European heavyweights have improved and this offer would further attest this.

Milan were initially linked to a move with Cassano, but if these latest speculations are to be believed, then the Rossoneri could add another Brazilian to their South American ranks.

We do say that Gallaini and co are a bit light weight in the brains department. But they aren't this stupid. Kaka ain't leaving not even for half of Real's squad and a truck load of cash.

If they want to offer us R9 then who are we to say no to them, but Kaka is out of the question. If they want we could give them Favalli

smart man.. wonderfully put... i really have no worries about Kaka.
Rossoneri7
I am seriouslly fearing this !!!

If Kaka moves to Madrid, it would be a slap in the face of Milan. Cuz the club doesnt need the money, so no offer would be temting from our part. Also, Kaka is contracted till 2011, so he will be with us for a long time to come. But, if they sign him .. It will be evident that it is Kaka's will to leave, which leaves me with a sick stomach sad.gif
han2503
^^^^

If I where you I wouldn't put much thought into this. Kaka has said over and over again he wants to stay (now let's just forget about Sheva and what he did, besides I would like to believe that what is happening to Sheva at the moment will be a constant reminder to Kaka and what might happen to him).

Besides this is AS that is continueing to put out all this bull about Kaka and Real, every other media outlet seem to have moved on from this. And the reason for this is because Calderon PROMISED Kaka and said tht he had even agreed term with him to get elected. Now considering that AS is Real's paper, of course they want to keep the fans believing that Real are still going to get him and are even getting closer to finalising the deal. So that Calderon wouldn't look like a fool.

Now they are saying that they are offering Man U over 42 million pounds for C.Ronldo also rolleyes.gif

Me too, Cassano is younger. and isn't plagued by injuries most of the time.

I really cannot believe that things have seemed to stall over him. It's clear real want to get rid of him. Why the hell haven't we taken him yet. He would be the perfect piece of the puzzle for our system

I heard we were offered ronaldo and cassano but this was refused

QUOTE
Real Madrid have offered to transfer strikers Ronaldo and Antonio Cassano to AC Milan, but the Italian side have turned them down, AFP reported.

The AS sports daily reported Sunday that Real officials had been in touch with their AC Milan counterparts two weeks ago and offered Brazilian Ronaldo for sale during the January transfer window. They then added the name of Italian Cassano.

"AC Milan''s response left no doubt that they were not interested in acquiring the services of Ronaldo and Cassano," AS reported.

Why do we always have to talk about this Kaka for Ronaldo thing?

Theres no way its going to happen.

Madrid wants to off load Ronaldo, we could get a good deal on him. What do we have to lose? Nothing. We need goals to win games.

Fox Soccer just came out with their list of the top teams. AC Milan wasn't even on the list and there was 30 teams.

We have a chance to get Cassano and Ronaldo as a package.
He's not really fat anymore. He has tried to appease Capello but it hasn't worked.

Ronaldo is better than any striker that we have at the moment.

As I mentioned in another topic, Real has probably asked the right for Kakà in a couple of years. Let's say, would you take Cassano and Ronaldo today and lose Kakà tomorrow? I don't think so. wink.gif

Well... the thing is that Real only did what they're supposed too!! I mean they want Kaka, they know Milan are not going to let him go him so easily but they still push and push and then they push some more...

What we should care for is Milan's actions in this matter; You know in every situation alike -- when a team wants to offload a player and offers him to some team -- the team team that's been offered the player always (should) have the upper hand... it's obvious enough that this is because he who makes an offer doesn't need the player anymore so if he's not valuable for you why should I buy him for the price you come up with? I'll buy him for as much as I want!!

The problem is that this doesn't seem to be the case with Milan in any negotiation anymore (especially with Madrid)... that's simply cause Galliani can't match professionals... he was (very) good at that time when everything was a bit simpler and he was younger but now he's become easy... I think we all agree he should go, we NEED professionals!!

Galliani opens Ronaldo door

Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has refused to rule out the idea of signing Ronaldo in the January transfer window.

The Brazilian’s spell at Real Madrid seems to be near an end, after Coach Fabio Capello confirmed that the international could leave immediately.

Galliani stated last week that the former Inter man, also a reported target for Juventus, would not arrive in January as Milan did not need another striker, but the official now seems to have changed his mind.

“Under certain conditions we could sign Ronaldo,” said the Rossonero to Italia Uno on Sunday.

“However, I want to clarify that there are no negotiations underway with Real Madrid. If the Spanish club were to offer him at certain conditions, then negotiations could start.”

Galliani then discussed Nelson Dida’s renewal, as the goalkeeper is currently contracted until June and has yet to extend his deal with the Rossoneri.

“He is a Milan player until June. If he decides to lower his demands he will stay, otherwise we will look for a replacement. We have set some limits that we must respect,” concluded Galliani.

Dida is reportedly asking for £3.5m per season, but Milan are not willing to pay more than £2.5m, which is the wage granted to the other Rossoneri key players

Yeah. Under certains conditions we could sign Ronaldinho, Robinho, Diarra, Buffon, Terry, etc etc etc...

Anyway, I honestly hope that Madrid sell Ronaldo to Asia or something. Ronaldo is lost, can't go back. Everybody knows want Ronaldo wants right now. And it's not to play football.

But… on the other hand Ronaldo is a great friend of Kaka’s. Having him hear will surely make Kaka VERY happy, he’s admitted this a couple of times also, and it might also motivate Ronaldo into doing something useful.

I’m confident that we could get him back in shape in no time, he has already lost a lot of weight. If he can score 16 goals when he is totally unfit and overweight then I’m sure we can find him of some use.

Problem is he can’t play in the CL, but I don’t see that as a problem since Oli and Pippo are looking better every day and Gila is finally regaining his Parma form and banging goals in.

I think having R9 at Milan will definitely put an end to the "Sheva equal" striker we're waiting for!

So if I have to choose, I'll wait untill the summer and get Eto'o or Torres!

Ronaldo ‘wants’ Milan move

Unwanted Real Madrid ace Ronaldo has reportedly sent his agent to Italy in a bid to secure him a January transfer to Milan.

The Brazilian’s stint in the Spanish capital is at an end, at the request of boss Fabio Capello, and a Rossoneri switch is a possibility.

"The situation is different to that of David Beckham as Ronaldo still has another year on his contract after this one," said Real President Ramon Calderon.

"But he is going to be inactive because the Coach has made it clear he doesn't intend to count on him."

Spanish newspaper AS claims that agent Fabiano Farah travelled to Milan on Monday, where he is scheduled to meet Rossoneri officials in order to finalise the move before the end of the month.

Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani recently said that the club were not interested in signing a striker in January, but the official then back-tracked by revealing that Ronaldo might join.

Ronaldo is also a reported target for Flamengo, Arabian club Al-Ittihad and the MLS, but he still seems keen on playing for an important European club before ending his career elsewhere.

The main issue now remains the financial details of the operation, as Milan are allegedly willing to pay £2m to immediately have him on loan, with an option to buy the former Golden Ball winner at the end of term.

The AS website also suggests that transfer market consultant Ernesto Bronzetti is acting as an intermediary between the parties.

In the meantime, Milan have also targeted striker Pato of Internacional Porto Alegre, despite President Vitorio Piffero recently denying that the 17-year-old was on sale.

The promising Brazilian is contracted to the outfit until 2009 and his rescission clause is set at £14m, but reports suggest that Milan are only willing to offer £8.2m to bring the player to the San Siro.
han2503
Don't know if I would be happy or sad if Ronaldo came.

But I know for a fact that Milanello will get him fit again and if you put a good midfield behind him he will score you goals, so I don't know??

I'm still against the idea of negotiating anything with Real

Hmm well I don't understand why galliani has some interest in ronaldo yet none towards cassano.

Wouldn't it be funny if we signed ronaldo and inter signed sheva. rolleyes.gif

Actually thats not so funny. Well if were going to continue with this policy to sign players past their prime, I suppose this is as good as any in terms of kaka's relationship with him. May as well keep our ace happy. king.gif

I'm not sure how fit ronaldo is at the moment. It is true though with the right midfield behind him, he will score.

With four strikers.. what does this mean for pippo..

Really if milan were that interested in signing him, they should have got it done before the start of the season and not got oli.

We really need a new striker, but I'd rather spent the money on a striker that is not as fat as Ronaldo and in a better shape like Klose. It's not Milans duty to bring old fat strikers back to their better times. Why can't we just buy players that are fit, in shape and not long past their best times?

AC Milan to make contract offer to Real Madrid's Ronaldo
tribalfooball.com - January 16, 2007

AC Milan are ready to make an offer to Real Madrid for unsettled striker Ronaldo.

After having an approach for Antonio Cassano turned down by the player, Milan will table the very same £4 million-a-year contract offer to Ronaldo in the coming days.

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani admitted on Sunday they were open to bringing the former Inter star back to Milan this month, while coach Carlo Ancelotti also said on Sunday evening: "It could happen, we will have to wait and see."

Milan would take Ronaldo on-loan to the end of the season with the option of signing him permanently in June for around £3.5 million. Their contract offer falls short of what Saudi Arabia's Al-Ittihad and USA's Red Bull New York have tabled, but Milan are gambling on Ronaldo wanting to continue his career in Europe.

"If he returned to Milan, I must say I would be disappointed," said Inter president Massimo Moratti. "But he is free to make his professional decisions. Of course he would like to return to the city of Milan."

Ronaldo Closer To AC Milan?

It seems that all the official denials are merely a smokescreen for Ronaldo to return to San Siro with red instead of blue accompanying the black stripes on his shirt.

The player’s agent, Fabiano Farah, took a last-minute flight to Italy today with the aim of brining the Rossoneri and the Fenômeno closer together.

He’ll be meeting with Milan negotiator Ernesto Bronzzetti according to Spanish daily ‘As’ (Ace) in an attempt to close the signing of the number 9 that Capello wants out of Madrid.

Farah has had a rapid series of trips as he landed in Madrid from Rio de Janeiro yesterday morning and met with his client at the Valdebebas training facilities.

The player knows that he has the Al-Ittihad option in reserve but is also keen to join a club capable of allowing him to experience the joy of winning the trophy he yearns for but is eluding him: the Champions League.

After the meeting the agent went straight to the airport and direct to Milan in a clear sign that R9’s preferences lie I a return to Italy rather than an Arabian adventure.

The stumbling block is that both Adriano Galliani and Silvio Berlusconi are still unsure of whether to bet on the wayward Brazilian or steer clear after the Rivaldo debacle.

Galliani was clear in declarations made to Italian sports daily ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’: "Ronaldo? There’s a 98% chance we won’t sign him but we’re still open to developments even though right now it’s not time to talk of Ronaldo."

Ronaldo accepts Milan offer

Ronaldo is on the verge of leaving Real Madrid after agreeing financial terms with Milan, according to reports in Italy.

The Brazilian is ready to leave the Spanish giants and his agent Fabiano Farah met Rossoneri Vice-President Adriano Galliani on Tuesday.

Farah has now flown back to Spain where he is scheduled to speak with Merengues sporting director Predrag Mijatovic about a transfer.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan have offered the former Golden Ball winner a £4m per season contract, plus his entire image rights worth a lucrative £8m a year – which Ronaldo currently shares with Real.

The Rossoneri were initially interested in a loan deal, but have reportedly now decided to make a move to sign the player on a permanent basis until 2008.

Ronaldo is also a reported target for Flamengo, Arabian club Al-Ittihad and the MLS, but he seems interested in playing for one more important European club before ending his career elsewhere.

In the meantime, Real chief Ramon Calderon has renewed his threat of netting Milan star Kaka next summer.

“If I will still be the President in June, it is very likely that Kaka will join this club,” said the official while meeting a group of students on Tuesday.
