Ahh, cool idea milanistar. But like han said, I think this kind of thing is more suited to shoutboxes/basic web chat apps.

Before I forget, would it useful to anyone if they were given some webspace on the Milanfan server? You could use it to host videos/pictures/songs relating to Milan and share it with other Milanfan's, rather than using 3rd party hosting sites.

Sounds like a good idea in practice. But wont MF be paying more for the extra space.
Maybe its just me, but the hosting sites like RS,MU,ect; are more than good enough imo.
If anything, any extra space on the server should be used for storing more videos or whatever.
But thats just my opinion.

The problem would be if you suddenly needed the space that you 'donated' to us members? If people get used to something being there, and its taken away...?
You could allways make sure you have an agreement with the people wanting the space, that clearly says that its subject to be removed at any time, with 1-2 days prior notice for backups. Saves problems then.

Yeah definitely. The current site current takes up around 2gb - I could host it 100 times and still have around 25gb spare

I'll make sure the server can handle it before I start handing out the space though!

Would like to see rep points introduced rather than a post count. I think some people on this board post rubbish just to boost their post count! However reputation points awarded from other members would be far more appropriate and would maybe cut-down the amount of pointless posts...

In my experience, the rep points usually keep flaming to a minimum. A guy with a high rep, is less likely to be called into a mud slinging contest.

Ok...I'll just summarize my suggestions then...making it easy...

1. I'm not against rep points, but I think we already have a good system of designating people as full members and so on. Just increase the gradations and we won't need any rep points. R7's got a point, of what use is the post count?

2. The e-mail redirecting facility is right now by invitation or by request right? How about granting that by default, or when you reach full member status.

3. More funnier/cooler rossoneriyish emoticons.

4. Chat feature that opens during the games, though I think it might be a risk, coz it would be silent.
