..though alot of players are really on form so you could make quite a few changes.

Hart
Smalling - Cahill - Terry - Cole
Parker - Barry
Walcott - Young - Downing
Rooney
Would rather we stuck with 4-3-3 and probably put Lamps in for Walcott and pushed Young out wide, but I'm happy enough with this. 2 very direct wingers, a great creative attacker, a box-to-box midfielder with a deep lying playmaker. Solid back 4 and a striker in form with Rooney.
If we play at our best, we could put up quite the scoreline.
Oh and congrats to Villa captain Stan Petrov on becoming Bulgaria's all-time most capped player.

Not so much chanting you're sh**. But the booing of a National Anthem, that's disrespectful. We'd have a field day if someone did that to us over here, I mean the outcry when Balotelli had his arms crossed in the National Anthems in the Community Shield goes to prove that...
I complain about Barca, cheating and diving. But I also don't just look through the world with rose tinted goggles and miss everything my own teams do.

They weren't booing, they were chanting England. There is a big difference, but I agree it shouldn't be done. Though we generally don't make noise during an opposition anthem (unless it's a select few nations) so I imagine it was done in annoyance to the Bulgaria fans not respecting ours. I'd not even heard about the balo thing to be honest.
Don't know why you'd even mention the chanting if you don't care about it. If it was racism/bad taste, fair enough. But that's the kind of song that happens at every ground in the country on a Saturday!
Anyway, Barton just tweeted this, made me laugh.

It's still disrespectful man, and I really think we were the innovators of this a few years back. I don't remember anyone doing it to us before. I just don't see how hard it is to shutup for a moment for a national anthem, be it England to Bulgaria and vice-versa. It's borderline pathetic.

Yeah I do agree. I don't see the need to be disrespectful. I can understand some people might get pissed off if their anthem is booed so they boo the opposition one, but there really is no need. I think it's more of a problem when we go away if anything because other nations dislike us. They boo ours, we boo theirs. At home both anthems are, generally speaking, both respected.
3-0 England, Rooney on the stroke of half time. As I said, we could rack up quite the score though we haven't played particularly brilliant. Just a solid, 'job done', performance. Scotty Parker proving me wrong again.

Yeah, agreed about the Anthems. Vicious circle I guess.
Rooney looks so much sharper, I was reading he did no training over the summer, perhaps more players should do that. He looks a completely different player this year.
Parker! Nah, he's good and I was a doubter a few years back. I'm interested to see how he does at Spurs now, as he won't be the main man as he was with The Hammers last year. Almost like their saviour, it didn't really go to well at Chelsea when he wasn't the main man, unlike West Ham & Charlton.

Faroe Islands are better than San Marino. Italy would have won big vs San Marino probably too. San Marino is pretty much as weak a NT gets. But at the same time I rate The Netherlands over Italy.
