Well, he is a player that has done a lot for this club, just as Seedorf, Inzaghi, Gattuso, etc ... It's good to leave with his head held high, without being scratched by the critics; that's the analogy behind my comment above

Cool that's fair enough, and I respect your opinion.
However, watching the likes of the very inconsistent & overrated Mexes (being touted as half of our starting CB pair), I can't help but feel that Nesta could have made an ample contribution to this team still (at the very least as rotational player of some sort)

Nothing is certain. Yet, I knew Nesta with 23 and I know Acrebi. I don't think there's much space for him to become as good as Nesta, I just don't see it in him. Maybe I'm wrong.

Who said he could become as good as Nesta??? The possibility of that happening is 0,01%. After all, Nesta was by far the best defender of the last decade. I'm just saying that Acerbi might have the potential to become a great defender, that's all.

i had similar hopes for Bonera and he turned out to be average to below average imo.. so let see how acrebi turns out. I hope he turns out to be good.

I can't judge him until I see him with Milan (never paid much attention to him with Chievo tbh).

Don't blame him. If your made out of money, the states is where you want to be. Better quality of life than Canada forsure.
