Well, he is a player that has done a lot for this club, just as Seedorf, Inzaghi, Gattuso, etc ... It's good to leave with his head held high, without being scratched by the critics; that's the analogy behind my comment above (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

However, watching the likes of the very inconsistent & overrated Mexes (being touted as half of our starting CB pair), I can't help but feel that Nesta could have made an ample contribution to this team still (at the very least as rotational player of some sort) |
