Watch this.

It's in Italian, but it doesn't matter. Just watch Muntari's reaction. rolleyes.gif

What a pr!ck!!
X-Offender
He says that if he does it again he'll smash his face. What a douche. The other guys take it so lightly, because that's what it is, a joke.
Danny
Guy got what was coming to him. The others were simply too polite to react. If someone shows you that in the street, if you just take it then you're really a bit of a t*t.

Sure, his reaction is maybe more violent than expected, but frankly I think you two just want any excuse to attack Muntari.

PS: you used to say you just hated him as a player, but that was just BS wasn't it. You hate him, period.

Like yours about wanting Bonera's leg broken smile.gif

Seems your idea of humour and mine are quite, quite different.

It's a joke FFS!

The others weren't too polite, they just knew how to laugh about it, especially Boriello and Lopez. De Rossi didn't seem all that happy about it either but wasn't a total d!ck about it

Smashing his tablet and threatening him? Not cool!
kurtsimonw
Him reacting negatively is fine. Him smashing someone else's possession, an expensive one at that, is far from acceptable.

Nah man, the other two take it like a joke, because that's what it is. There's another video with some other players, and they all laugh about it. Only De Jong gets serious, but he doesn't get out of the car, smash his iPad and then threaten to smash his face. If you think that's fine, then obviously you and I have different concepts of where the line lies in such situations.

And Muntari is a d*ck, if you didn't know. He treats fans like sh*t, and he's too full of himself. Since it's OK for you to diss Balotelli, then I think it's OK for me to diss Muntari, too. smile.gif

Bonera's? unsure.gif

It was a joke FFS, no malice intended.

We BOTH diss Balotelli biggrin.gif

He's a complete and total joke of a player who has now finally been found out.

I agree on several aspects of Muntari, I just think sometimes if you go up to someone and dishonour them to their face, they have every right to be very angry. The smashing of the iPad was OTT I agree, but we know Muntari is a hothead. Which kind of suggests playing such a 'joke' on him is sheer stupidity.

I did condemn the violence.
Fillipo Simone
His violent reaction was out of line. The stupidity of the joke however is shocking as well.

He could have just ignored him and drove off like De Rossi. Let's not try to excuse him destroying personal property and threatening someone because of a stupid joke
Danny
No one did?

Saying that the guy shouldn't have made that joke in the first place because it's not right, etc is in a way excusing him.

A joke is a joke, no matter how inappropriate, no need to do what he did, and not just with the tablet

No it isn't, it's saying the joke was out of line. The violence was too, but the reaction wasn't.

A joke is only a joke if the recipient takes it as one. As you said, Di Rossi didn't take it as one either.

Anyway this is as pointless an argument as I've seen on here, and I've seen some really pointless arguments!

No need to do it - sure, agreed. But saying "a joke is a joke" is just a slogan, nothing more. Clearly the joke was stupid, offensive and inappropriate.

So in the end, both parties showed immaturity.

Well x-off brought this on here, you guys decided to turn this into a debate, just like when we vent in match threads and the Muntari obsessed comments start. It's obvious that it's going to start up a debate

And for me a joke is still a joke, even if you don't take it well, there's no need to be a pr!ck about it. De Rossi didn't take it well either but he didn't get out of the car, smash his tablet and threaten the guy, talk about going OTT!
Fillipo Simone
Past players please. Some other guys should be moved from this bunch as well.
han2503
Took care of all of them

Hopefully some more before the end of the summer

Muntari has signed for Al-Ittihad. €7 million per season for two years.

This guy has a really good agent.

Roughly 150,000 a week. A move purely for the money. At this stage of his career he's decided to hell with sporting glory and now just wants the scrillah.

And guess what, why the heck not? I'd do the same.

Oh no, don't get me wrong. He's done the right thing. My facepalm was directed towards the club that signed him.

Arabic clubs sign anyone and at incredibly high wages. It's why so many stars at the end of their careers go there.
Fillipo Simone
Good luck with his new club!

As long as he's not leeching off of Milan I couldn't care less. All I have to say is " laugh.gif " at the club

And " king.gif " to Muntari and especially his agent

Me neither smile.gif

He ain't one, but many stars do go there. That said, he's a well-known player with dozens of caps for Ghana and a career in Serie A. That's fairly marquee on paper?

Yeah! He went to the second biggest in Saudi, based in Jeddah. We have a member here who is also from Jeddah, can't recall who.

football is HUGE in Saudi, the domestic money generated in Saudi from football is twice or thrice that Serie A generates.
