Deal. I'll order my senate to draw up a inaugural charter as soon as possible..

Is it true we have a friendly with Lugano tomorrow?

I've heard mention of a friendly on the 10th but don't have any hard information yet.

Lugano? We've played against them...in 2004? Or was it 2005?
Hmh, could be. That would be a typical Milan friendly.

That would be awesome ... If Borriello really proves himself ahead of Inzaghi and S7 ... Milan would have a future generation within its ranks king.gif

i personally think borriello can do really gud he showed his quality last season against all sorts of oppsition gud and bad he can score what people called wonder goals every month ( that shows it is his ablity ) and he is the stiker in our squad who can play with back towards defenders ( something like drogba) and hold on to the ball and wait for those behind him

There seems to be a fan ban in place for Milan fans. Its due to the incident in the 90's were a Genoa fan was stabbed by a Milan fan. Same thing happened last year (fan ban wise) as there will be too much tension otherwise

Not the worst that could happen, really. It's a precaution only.

They're stopping ALL ticket sales for Napoli-Fiorentina for now. Supposedly there's a chance that that game and some of Napoli's other home games might have to be played behind closed doors.

Today's training has taken place!

Those players not called up for their respective national teams began training at 4pm.

Training began with a round of applause for Alexandre Pato, in honor of his 19th birthday.

The work then began with warmups and ball circulation exercises. Following this, the players worked on ball possession drills for approximately 30 minutes.

During the second part of training the team worked on attack v. defense drills on half the pitch (ie, from the center line to one goal). Training concluded with a practice game played under a strong rainstorm.

Senderos took part in the entire training session.

Borriello and Nesta worked in the gym.

Kaka took part in the first part of training with the team before going to the gym to work on personalized training.

Tomorrow there will be a double training session.

borriello still in the gym wtf

Ambrosini, Pato and Favalli did aerobic work on the central pitch.

Cardacio, Antonini, and Kakà did laps around the perimeter of the central pitch.

Senderos did aerobic work on the lower pitch.

The other players worked in the gym.

There will be a second training session this afternoon.

Brazil have the Habbit to hold on thier Coaches, but Judging on what happened back in 2002, They may repeat history!HOPEFULLY!

Kaka is Back, That's good news!
I hope we dont blow it off and actually start to start him in the Starting 11 until few matches , i dont want his injury to get Worse.
Giancarlo
Well Kaka took his time which is fine by me... he stayed out long enough I think to recover... I think he's eager to get ready and play...

Agreed. smile.gif Although I want Brazil to win the next one, if Dunga is still at the helm, I wouldn't mind them being kicked out. But who knows maybe they do well. European teams really don't do that well playing abroad, so maybe they'll be in with a chance.

I think he'll get at least a full match before that. He needs match fitness before going into a big match like that.

But what's great about it is the fact that we have options and we can go a couple of games without relying on Kaka, and him having to come back early after injuries because the team can't cope without him

It's good knowing that Milan doesn't depend of Kaka' ... And considering the options upfront, Milan can go forward no matter how many injuries it gets along the way

I agree with you. I was impressed with the flowing attack Milan had. There needs to be some things tied up in defense. But the team has shown it does not rely completely on Kaka. This is a good thing, not a bad thing. It'll reduce pressure on Kaka, and he'll become less marked during playing time.

It's really painful to watch the clips - from a very good striker to someone completely paralyzed who can communicate only by computer (his eyes trigger keystrokes and he communicates in that way, via synthesized voice, sort of like Steven Hawking). sad.gif

Good to see Milan and Fiorentina stepping up (see separate thread in this section for stuff on the charity game).

I'd put a disclaimer that says 'Don't quote me on this', if I were you. tongue.gif Milan has a thing with injuries. They just pop up at the wrong time, every time. Unless you want to see Dida and Ambrosini playing as strikers!

Gattuso was injured in the training and had a surgery for dislocation of the hand

"Gattuso was taking part in a friendly game against a team of unemployed players at the Gradisca d’Isonzo training ground when he fell into the dugout on the side of the pitch, before banging his head and hurting his left wrist."

"It has not yet been revealed how long Gattuso will be out of action for, but one assumes that he will definitely miss Italy’s match with Georgia, while he could also be in serious doubt for a number of Milan games."

So maybe we can have Seedorf,Kaka,Dinho and Pato in a same time.

We'll see, from Tassotti's words in the interview Tennie posted it looks like we're going to be using the 4-2-3-1 system. I don't know if Kaka will play but I get the feeling that he will so I would like to see something like this

Janku--Bonera--Maldini--Zambro
Pirlo--Flamini
Kaka--Pato--Dinho
Sheva

I think this could really work. I didn't like what I saw from Seedorf last Sunday when he played in the middle of the attacking 3. He's too lazy and slow to play there, and when he delays the ball too much it ruins every move the team builds up.

Pato will be much quicker playing there, he'll move the ball quicker, plus all of those 4 attacking players can basically all continuosly alternate positions. I think if we can make this new system work it will be a far more dynamic approach then the xmas tree.

I like the line up ... But Seedorf is missing tongue.gif Seedorf's game was never based on speed, and with the tempo that Milan plays at, he becomes a very crucial player. I like how Desailly described him, ' he acts as a junction that links up the defense with the attack ..'. Of course to each his opinion, nevertheless, Seedorf is very important to this team.

Slow or not, his qualities are a part of the ingredients to this Milan, otherwise he wouldn't have been here all this time.
