Yes but he'll be here next year. And he's not exactly the new Cristiano Ronaldo so I don't get the fascination. Maybe he'll adapt, maybe not. He'll be here in 2022, don't see a point in already planning and dreaming about him. We need better then just talented french mid-class players.
All the signings we've made since Paolo came in have all thought us better than this
We don't need "better". We're making these players better playing in our system. Bennacer, Theo, Kessie, Calabria, Diaz, Leao, Alexis, Tomori. These are all players who we all thought were not "good enough" and now are worth trice as much as they did before Pioli took over.
As x-off said, the hope of being able to sign established players needs to be let go. That's not how this Milan operates. And personally I'm very happy we're going down this route. I was losing my sh!t in the summer about Gigio and Hakan, but look how it's turned out. We're better off for it imo. Our wage bill is a quarter to that of Juve's and we play the better football and the table so far reflects that

There are rumours that Milan have decided to sell Kessie in January. The difference between request and demand about wages is too big, especially since there are indiscretions that PSG are offering to him a very fat contract.
The problem is whether we can place him in January. The only way would be if other clubs started bidding for him, because if it's only PSG no way would they be willing to barf 10-15M for a player they could get easily for free just a few months later.
Once again, management f*cked up. Kessie should have been put on the market this summer. He should have been given a deadline. Either you renew until, I dunno, 31 of July, otherwise we sell you. Once again we've shot ourselves in the foot and I really don't understand it.
These contract situations are the one huge black spot over an otherwise stellar managerial strategy for Milan. We're going to be in the same boat with Theo and Bennacer. I don't understand why they're not already renewed at this point. Why allow the next transfer window to drift back into the horizon without renewing their contracts?
Kessie at this point is most likely lost to us. We need to try to get something for him in January. I really do not understand how we could allow around 160m in assets to walk away for free. How Elliot(!!) could allow that is beyond me
