Can't remember the last time the team looked so very inspired in there touches and keeping a high tempo like this.

We need to ensure we get that 2nd goal before we get too overconfident in my opinion though, because as good as we've been playing and knocking the ball around, it has also been some very risky play from time to time.

I don't think I'm being harsh. Just brutally honest when others here are turning a blind eye because the kid works hard. Fair enough but you can't really say that what he's done in terms of attacking play has been brilliant when it's been anything but!

SES made the crucial assists while also linked up a lot of plays with Nocerino and Constant. I think he's been his usual self, but once again, he's ristricted a lot out wide so what can you do


Monto mediocre?

Him and the other 2 in midfield have been the true engine so far. Monto is constantly sweeping up play. Picking up the ball and playing it quickly. He's played the regista role perfectly so far today

His limitations are so glaringly obvious that it's painful to watch at times. Huffing and puffing is all well and good, but he's not a RB. He's playing as a RW. hHim running in a stright line and crossing the ball as hard as he can is not what I call brilliant.

Sometimes I'm seriously brought to tears at how people on this forum always overrate our young players so much that they simply do not see at times that they're just not that special. And so far Niang has shown nothing that tells me he's a special player. His workrate is very good, and he has the potential to be a good CF. But watching him huff and puff on that wing is not what I call stellar

Yes, he is not Bojan. He is not that type of a player. He doesn't posses the same kind of elegance. But if you can't see Niang for the type of player he is, a hard working, strong, physical yet technical player, then that's your blindness. Bojan on the right right now, or actually from the start of the season would be the way to go. But Allegri is playing this way right now. So far today, Niang has been doing well. This is the second game he is doing well in and It's great to see. It's a downer, though, to see you blast him left and right, just because he is not Bojan or Messi. But guess what? Other type of players exist also, and they offer different kinds of attributes and they are useful in a different way.

By the way, when did anyone say Niang is gonna be big or anything? We are just happy about his performance today.
