BALO!!!!

Our attack has been looking great so far!!!

Niang & Balo are linking up superbly!!!

Can't remember the last time the team looked so very inspired in there touches and keeping a high tempo like this.

We need to ensure we get that 2nd goal before we get too overconfident in my opinion though, because as good as we've been playing and knocking the ball around, it has also been some very risky play from time to time.

Anyway, Bring on the 2nd HALF!!!

WOOTT!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/devilsmiley.gif)

Yeah you guys are right. Niang is nothing but a clumsy defender. What we are doing playing this awful center back in the forward 3, GOD KNOWS!

Agreed again. The team indeed looks inspired.

Great points made. Agreed once again. It's up to us to finish this off now.

Good half. Nocerino and Flamini have been brilliant so far.

All the midfield 3 have been brilliant imo. Monto always there to sweep up play. It's been great so far. Hope they can keep up the high tempo

QUOTE (Bluesummers @ Feb 3 2013, 09:37 PM) *
your being way too harsh, he's one of the best on the pitch.

Attacking, creating plays, tracking back, supporting. His crosses have all been either corners or serious threats.

If anything Stephan has been the one out of the 3 to have not really impacted the game

I don't think I'm being harsh. Just brutally honest when others here are turning a blind eye because the kid works hard. Fair enough but you can't really say that what he's done in terms of attacking play has been brilliant when it's been anything but!

SES made the crucial assists while also linked up a lot of plays with Nocerino and Constant. I think he's been his usual self, but once again, he's ristricted a lot out wide so what can you do

QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Feb 3 2013, 09:37 PM) *
It's the usual mediocre Monto again.

Seems I'm the only one agreeing here. I really can't see why he's been "stellar".

Monto mediocre?

Him and the other 2 in midfield have been the true engine so far. Monto is constantly sweeping up play. Picking up the ball and playing it quickly. He's played the regista role perfectly so far today

Thanks, I thought my eyes weren't working correctly...

But seriously, I just do not understand how people could say that was "brilliant"

His limitations are so glaringly obvious that it's painful to watch at times. Huffing and puffing is all well and good, but he's not a RB. He's playing as a RW. hHim running in a stright line and crossing the ball as hard as he can is not what I call brilliant.

Sometimes I'm seriously brought to tears at how people on this forum always overrate our young players so much that they simply do not see at times that they're just not that special. And so far Niang has shown nothing that tells me he's a special player. His workrate is very good, and he has the potential to be a good CF. But watching him huff and puff on that wing is not what I call stellar

OH NO! HE WORKS HARD! WHAT A NEGATIVE TRAIT!! SHOOT HIM ON SIGHT!!!

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Yes, he is not Bojan. He is not that type of a player. He doesn't posses the same kind of elegance. But if you can't see Niang for the type of player he is, a hard working, strong, physical yet technical player, then that's your blindness. Bojan on the right right now, or actually from the start of the season would be the way to go. But Allegri is playing this way right now. So far today, Niang has been doing well. This is the second game he is doing well in and It's great to see. It's a downer, though, to see you blast him left and right, just because he is not Bojan or Messi. But guess what? Other type of players exist also, and they offer different kinds of attributes and they are useful in a different way.

By the way, when did anyone say Niang is gonna be big or anything? We are just happy about his performance today.

Zapata has to go and try and win the ball, not back off, may as well not have been there.

Brilliant. Bonera out of position completely, but Zapata could have done better as well. At least with more pace.

Goal was all bonera's fault. Just awful defending. If your gonna go and try to win the header you better fu*cking win it or don't go at all.
