Completely wrong? I think R7 pretty much confirmed what I said. Where are Wolfsburg nowadays? Where are Stuttgart? What about Bremen a few seasons back? How come Gladbach are struggling so badly after an amazing run last season? It's very typical for German clubs. Aside from Bayern, the rest are one-hit wonders that shine for one season and become mediocre the very next one. Not much different from Montpellier in France. Don't be surprised if Dortmund are struggling for an Europa League spot in a couple of years.
I really think you got it completely wrong.
Wolfsburg nowadays are in a dire crisis because of miss-management by Magath. They will stabilize eventually. Bremen maintained a run that lasted about 10 seasons, finishing from 1st to 4th, almost always making it to the CL.
Gladbach is a one hit wonder, true. Look at Dortmund - they are truly building a good squad which could last.
But anyway - what's there with Serie A? You have only Inter and Juventus as teams who've won the title in the last 10 seasons or so + Milan. Who can you say is stable and good for a long span? Udinese? Lazio? Roma?

What possible excuse is there for this?
PSG 1-2 Rennes
13' Alessandrini (0-1)
21' Nene (1-1)
25' Costil RED CARD (Rennes)
34' Feret (1-2)
51' Makoun RED CARD (Rennes)
25 minutes against 10 men, 40 minutes against 9 men and despite it being 1-1 when Rennes meant a man down, they still manage to lose.

It is. At least Carlo came out in the press and said there is a crisis and he will be making changes. As opposed to saying, the team played with great heart and we are improving and we are unlucky.

I would have the same of any coach in this situation. They sacked a coach for being in first, so it makes sense to me that the coach that took over in first and didn't win the title should be sacked too. Especially when he then had £150m of new players in the summer and has got off to a bad start.

Why isn't then the Bundesliga thread filled with "Heynckens manages only a 1-1" comments? When Carlo wins, no one cares commenting. As soon as he makes a mistake or two, you jump. Why not wait till season end?
p.s. Leonardo had a bad rapport with Kombouaré, it's the main reason of his dismissal.

Because he should win far more often than not. And I don't do it every time, he's not won more games than he's won this season and I've barley commented. I just thought playing 25 mins against 10 men and 40 minutes against 9 men and losing at home was beyond awful.

Because underperofmring with Silva, Lavezzi, Menez, Ibrahimovic, Nene, Pastore in the French league is not the same as underperforming with a bunch of mediocre players in a better league?
Had Allegri had those players in Serie A and wasn't winning the league (even if Serie A is more difficult) I'd have been making the same complaints.

..ok..and so what Petkovic. Montella and Strama are achieving with their teams are defined as what exactly? Over-performing.
Look there's no question in my mind that we've been heavily weakend. We're not asking for a pot of gold at the end of the season. But there is no way we can rationalise our position on the table. Allegri's a good coach, but I think he's just not a Milan coach.

Yes, Ancelotti has a much better team and he is expected to easily win Ligue 1.
But Allegri has a weaker team and he is not expected to win Serie A by us fans. Never was this season, except by Galliani, who everyone laughed at. STILL, his team is MORE than good enough for a top 3 finish. The team is under-performing and that doesn't make our players any less valuable in my opinion. I looked at the top Seire A squads before the season started and saw a Milan that was good enough for third. Which is what Allegri was targeting himself.
Abbiati
Abate
Mexes
Zapata
De Jong
Boateng
Montolivo
El Shaarawy
Bojan
Pato
IS MORE than good enough for top 3. When there was Nesta, Silva and Ibra in this team, it was good enough to win the league. Simple as. Allegri is not doing good with what he has available to him. In fact he is doing horribly bad.

That's everyone problem. We're not as bad as we've been these past two months. And if a team is underperforming, who else to blame but the coach? It's plain logical. Not to mention that Allegri's managed to make his mess-ups even more evident to everyone.

I don't know what's wrong. Maybe they shouldn't set up so cautiously. Playing with 2 DMs isn't necessary with such a superior squad. Get someone to partner Ibra maybe. Or if he wants to play with 1 striker, a very good box-to-box man that can score some goals.

They lack identity, that's what's wrong. if the same group of players played for Milan under the same Carlo, we'd go on and win the CL in no time.
It's the coach's responsibility to give them that identity but Carlo is not that type of coach. they need someone like Mourinho.
