It's official, oliveira will wear the ac milan shirt, for the ones that understan spanish here is the report, from espndeportes.com web site and it sais that after milan failed to sign in ronaldo thay wen for oliveira, they are not mentioning the fee, but i think that he didnt cost that much.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It says that the only thing left to sign for Milan is the medical test. rolleyes.gif

Neither am I. This is just a mediocre signing judging from what I just read. He seems to be one of those talented players that are injured way to often, plus 26 isn't young anymore... I hope something more will happen...

You don't know what you're talking about. Oliveira is a great sign in. He's exactly the kind of player we need. I'm not saying he will be able to fill Sheva's gap, but he definitely isn't a 'crappy' sign in.

I've seen most of Betis' games in the 2004/2005 season, and he was just amazing. Pitty he comes from this injury, but I'm sure it won't take time for him to get back in shape.

So why do we need him for.. we have pippo and gila , and gila is way much better that him... so thats makes him... what ? unuseful.. perhaps.

we needed a player like sheva to fill the hole...

I know the new was everywhere, but in Ibra and specially Sobis case was the same.

OK... we got a photo from today with him and Galliani at the aeroport. I know he's a Milan player at the moment, probably already signed... but I want the official confirmation on Milan's website.

Except Henry and perhaps Ronaldinho, no-one else will ever be able to fill Sheva's gap. Neither Torres, Tevez or Klose. So just be happy we finally got a new striker and didn't end up empty handed.

He's not even closer to Gila/Pippo type.

Gila and Pippo are in-box strikers. This guy can be that, or can play behind or towards the wing.

Stop that pessimism. Give the guy a chance. He's quality, he deserves it. Even Inter fans know he's a good add for Milan.

Was just about to post the same thing.

We should be happy we even got someone. There was no time to be picky, we only have six days left and this guy came cheap, so why are some still complaining, if he doesn't work out for this season, we'l sell him, I still think that they should get Sobis seeing as he strill hasn't been announced in any club. Thjat way we will have more depth in our front line.

Oddo might come also and I think that will be it for our transfer market, which wouldn't be bad at all

Ricky is happy!!!!???? I'm glad!!! Please Ricky don't ever leave we'll sign a bunch Oliveiras for ya if that makes you happy!!!! smile.gif

Oliveira's good!!! And even though he's not any big name it proves what some people here -like me tongue.gif - have been talking about. Milan don't miss out on anyone. They buy anyone they really want in just a few hours. It's just obvious that they don't wanna spend right now, dunno for what!!!??
Portman
I just hope people start calling him the right way: Oliveira! Ricardo OLIVEIRA!

Not Olivieri or Oliviera, Olivera... etc

Don't be like the Arsenal's fans calling Viera to Patrick Vieira, 3493494393494985 seasons after they signed him. rolleyes.gif

PS: And this name is not as hard as Shevchenko. biggrin.gif

Of course there will never be another Sheva.

Just l;ike there never was another Van Basten, but everyone iventually moved on just like in time everyone will move on from this Sheva thing, and he will be just a distant memory to all of us, A bitter sweet memory if you will.

And then we break out singing Barbara Streisand's Memories. (don't know the lirics though tongue.gif )

I'm happy with Pippo, Gila, Oliveria and Amoroso. I can't think of anyone who we can realistically sign that would add anything to that line-up. Maybe Torres, but as someone has mentioned Oliveria has a better scoring record in Spain.

Let's not forget that we've got Kaka and Gourcuff waiting in midfield - I think the Xmas tree should be used more often this season.
