Think Antonini deserves a mention. Usually (rightfully) criticised but today was very, very good defensively and got forward very well. Hopefully he can keep up this kind of form (yes, his shots were a bit off!)

But let's not be greedy

All that's left to do now is close this sh!t out at the Emerites

Pato in his usual form would have smashed that in no doubt
And I don't get why Urby even bothers shooting! He's just not good at it.
Boateng as well had a few selfish moments.
But all in all, I can't complain! Haven't seen a CL performance like that since Man U under Carlo imo

When asked about the pitch, he said we've talked a lot about it, but it didn't cause problems for Ibra, Robs, etc. So it can't be an excuse

ITV (the main English coverage) was fine. A little biased on occasion as to be expected but didn't come up with this tripe.

To be fair, he missed one good chance earlier on. But heck, he was great, especially if you consider how terrible he played recently for us. This is the first time this season his movement had determination and sense. Maybe this will be a boost.
Ibra is IMO man of the match. This was a brilliant performance; CL choker my @ss.

Absolutely, still unbeaten and have the best defensive record in the league so far, it's not gonna be easy against Juve. Having said that, it's really refreshing to see Boateng and Pato back on the field; could prove key against Juve. Hopefully Aquilani will be back soon as well.

Antonini and Max earned points in my book today.
I will gladly give it up for Max. The team was so prepared to face Arsenal, and we forced them to play at our pace. He sent them out with the perfect mentality, got his lineup right from the beginning (I'd have preferred Mesbah, but Antonini coped..so hey) and the Seedorf injury apparently didn't affect our play at all — I thought it would to be honest.
I was amazed at the ease with which we escaped our half and launched counter attacks.
Anyone wonder if we were in fact better off without seedorf? With Ibra taking on a creative role from the front line, Emanuelson, Nocerino going box to box, boateng prowling and robinho moving accordingly..we looked damn effective, and frankly Urby provided some pace and trickery that I don't think Seedorf has in him at the stage. I wonder..
