Pato on, Robbs off.

Looks like Barbara called Max.
Milan Are Brilliant
Enough time for him to get injured?
han2503
OH RVP very close!

Well, I guess it's time to say this is why I didn't fear Arsenal too much cool.gif

And people said that Wenger is going to outsmart Allegri...
han2503
Pato slightly off the pace.

Rusty touches

Could have been 5 or 6 if Pato or Emanuelson bothered to pass to Zlatan. That damn ball-hog... rolleyes.gif

excellent. delicious victory.

Outstanding.

Think Antonini deserves a mention. Usually (rightfully) criticised but today was very, very good defensively and got forward very well. Hopefully he can keep up this kind of form (yes, his shots were a bit off!)

In al reality it could have been a lot more, not just because of the last 2 chances

But let's not be greedy biggrin.gif

All that's left to do now is close this sh!t out at the Emerites

Damn it, we should have scored the fifth!!!
il_diavolo_mtl
Outclassed Arsenal in every way. Mexes has proved his class playing flawlessly on a yellow for most of the game. Anoti deserves credit as well... Robinho MOTM hands down*

I can safely say i have always hated him but he played brilliantly!!!

Damn it, we should have scored the fifth!!!

And the sixth and seventh!!!

Pato in his usual form would have smashed that in no doubt

And I don't get why Urby even bothers shooting! He's just not good at it.

Boateng as well had a few selfish moments.

But all in all, I can't complain! Haven't seen a CL performance like that since Man U under Carlo imo

I think I'd give it to Ibra. He just created evrything

I'm still stunned that Robs got 2 chances and scored them both!

Little annoyed Robbie didn't get the penalty, would've been nice to see have him a chance at the hat-trick.

Southgate finally didn't talk from his @ss

When asked about the pitch, he said we've talked a lot about it, but it didn't cause problems for Ibra, Robs, etc. So it can't be an excuse

Completely agree, Arsenal first had to play before they started to worry about the pitch!

I want to see this against Juve now. Great, Great game!!

Always like Arsene wenger, classy guy imo.

That goal from Boateng was Van Basten like.

Btw,seems like now is the time we got all of our players back, and we'll be able to push for all fronts!

Agreed.

Their eyes should be totally set on Juve now.

Beat them at home and we're completely in the driving seat

No,he was good imo,and we need all our squad to be fit and ready,Seedorf will have an integral, and specially if we have some injured players again in midfield.

Before it gets blown up, 99% sure this must have come from American broadcast teams.

ITV (the main English coverage) was fine. A little biased on occasion as to be expected but didn't come up with this tripe.

To be fair, he missed one good chance earlier on. But heck, he was great, especially if you consider how terrible he played recently for us. This is the first time this season his movement had determination and sense. Maybe this will be a boost.

Ibra is IMO man of the match. This was a brilliant performance; CL choker my @ss.

Bravo to the team! Hopefully we can repeat the same against Juve and finally pay them back for the last 2 lost matches.

Absolutely, still unbeaten and have the best defensive record in the league so far, it's not gonna be easy against Juve. Having said that, it's really refreshing to see Boateng and Pato back on the field; could prove key against Juve. Hopefully Aquilani will be back soon as well.

Well, if Juventus has the best defensive record in Serie A, we have the best offensive record. smile.gif And you know what happens when the irresistible force meets the immovable object?!

Antonini and Max earned points in my book today.

I will gladly give it up for Max. The team was so prepared to face Arsenal, and we forced them to play at our pace. He sent them out with the perfect mentality, got his lineup right from the beginning (I'd have preferred Mesbah, but Antonini coped..so hey) and the Seedorf injury apparently didn't affect our play at all — I thought it would to be honest.

I was amazed at the ease with which we escaped our half and launched counter attacks.

Anyone wonder if we were in fact better off without seedorf? With Ibra taking on a creative role from the front line, Emanuelson, Nocerino going box to box, boateng prowling and robinho moving accordingly..we looked damn effective, and frankly Urby provided some pace and trickery that I don't think Seedorf has in him at the stage. I wonder..
