Well, compared to the hairstyles of some Austrian players...Alex has a good one.
Looks like right out from the 70s. Or was it the 80s?

He's an okay keeper, I guess. Thanks.

QUOTE (MizNelson @ Dec 9 2008, 10:21 PM)

Whenever I think of Juve nowadays, I think not of the '03 CL but the 3-1 home thrashing in October 2005. Granted, Chimenti was in goal (Buff was out injured and I think Abi had refused to play), but it's always satisfying to look back on that. Remember how Mutu tried to stomp on Nesta and half the team nearly cleaned his clock as a result?
Also a very fond memory, the way we just stomped on them in the midfield and took control of the game was just amazing, that's the Milan I was to see again, not this side that has no desire and ideas, that just hides behind past achievments. Even when we were missing Sheva at the time becuase he was injured and had to play with the duo of Gila Pippo we still tore through them with ease. This is why I personally don't believe that its just the striker choices that Carlo has been making that effect how we play, the midfield is also a big problem, particularly the 2 DMs
Also some memorable collisions between Rino, Viera and Emerson.

It's being demolished, so they won't be moving back to it. In its place, a new stadium is being built, with a smaller capacity and without the running track.

No idea, but the capacity is going to be around 40,000, which is less than the delle Alpi.

Because Juve don't have too many fans in Turin.

Torino has more local fans. Juventus fans are spread all over Italy and the world. Their management decided to sacrifice seating space for more modern facilities, while saving some $$$.

Watching the replay of Juve-Bate now. The pitch is going to be a mess on Sunday. It's pretty beat up in patches today and more bad weather is forecast. Turin got about a foot of snow today (which also explains in part why the stands are so empty today. they won't be on Sunday).

On the Juventuz forum, there's a thread titled 'Old Lady vs. Old Men'.
This is one of the posts. Insulting as h*** to Milan but I found it very funny.
QUOTE
Since the dog won't play (i was crying yesterday when i heard he's out till the end of the season. Such a great person, such a brave heart...it was sad to hear the news about his injury), then Sissoko will obviously own the midfield and take care of the Jesus freak and the horse teeth.
The sewer rat will probably start from the bench so the duck will have to take all the beating from Chiellini.
The maggot will play on the right which means that Nedved and Molinaro will have to fight with him. Giovinco won't start and it's such a shame because he was so going to own the maggot.
One of "+5m per year on wages" flop / maniac Ambrosini, together with the ballerina Andrea, will play in midfield and even though Sissoko can also take care of them, Zanetti will be responsible for owning them.
Which leaves us with Camoranesi teaching Jankulovski a lesson and the best part for the end: Del Piero vs Bonera and Amauri vs Maldinosaurus.
How can we not beat this Jurassic Park?

We seriously need to play with at least two strikers! Chiellini will most probably own our sole striker, whoever it is. it will not be enough to play with 1 striker. it will be asking for a draw.

Exactly, since the 93-94 season we've won only 4 times away there.

Not good. More stats are posted on the first page of this thread, and frankly they don't make for too good of a reading. I can only hope for a good show this time around.

not sure how Milan will play .. But a win in turin can boost the team moral going into the winter break ..
Personally, i dont find the Juve defense any stronger than most Serie A teams .. Milan can count on Kaka for this one .. But the injury list is just growing longer since the last time i checked.
