He's still going to bullsh!t us with his cr@p "Oh we missed a penalty, we had to goals disallowed, we should have won and in my heart of hearts I believe that Milan have won all 3 points today. But those referees, oh those referees, they always try to steele points from Milan"

At least we're completely shite. Beyond shite.

Not even UEFA Cup this season.

I can see what's going to happen soon: Inter battering us in the derby, celebrating the scudetto and us celebrating the 7th place.

The dream was to see Milan beat Inter and hand Roma the scudetto. What's probably going to happen now is Inter beating Milan and kicking us out of the UEFA Cup places while celebrating their 16th Serie A title...

Ouch, bad result. I thought we were harshly treated with some key decisions, but still, Atalanta would have felt hard done by if they didnt walk away with all 3 points today.

We're in trouble now - we have to start talking risks with our line-ups. Anything less than 4th is not good enough.

I don't know how many of you remember watching the great Franco Baresi play. But for those who did, this year is starting to remind me of his last season - the season from h*ll when Milan finished 11th. (1996-1997) sad.gif

I wrote that in September. Man. I wish I'd been wrong, but at this point I wouldn't be surprised with a finish that far down. sad.gif

HAHA

All you can do is laugh. It was so f*ckin shite.

The only bright thing was pato and palo giving each other chances. Palo unlucky with great save and pato didn't connect well.

Things we've learned from this match:

1. Ancelotti is nervous. He started to smoke! That's a good sign. Either he'll be fired (note that Cesare was on the stands today). IMO we should ban Carlo and bring Cesare till season end and then call back Carlo.. cool.gif

2. Favalli is no worth. He's crossed from the list. If we need a LB we have Janku, Paolo, Kaladze, and the primaveras. Nesta is out of form and I'm glad he got the red card. Pirlo should also be excluded. He's becoming arrogant and I don't see any motivation. Any..

3. Seedorf is poor but still worth playing. He can play offensive actions.

4. The captain debate is solved IMO. Who should be Milan's next leader - the man who just quietly sunk with the teams lethargy (Gattuso), or the man who got a red card for doing don't know what, or Ambrosini who actually was our best man and gave us a penalty?? Did you see Ambrosini? He was the only one with intelligence and motivation. Respect.

5. Gilardino can pack his bags, he isn't worth trying any more.

I will make an appeal now: could we try stay behind our team till season end?
We can finish 4th, 5th, 6th or maybe 11th. No matter. When the season ends, we can shout and criticize. But now, could we make the effort and stay behind them. Even if they don't deserve to be 4th or to have support. It's our team, it's Milan and it's Maldini's last season.

Anyhow, there's no need to make any criticism. Why bother? Guys, just copy-paste your comments, it's allways the same problem with our team.

I still pray we finish 4th, still belive we can and will do it, even if the odds and common reason says the exact opposite. Let's leave that for June.. cry.gif cry.gif

Starting from now on the permanent starting positions that pirlo ambro seedorf gattuso/defence and etc have are in danger. Dont play well? there is the bench. Dont give up yet. 21 points is still alot.

How can they be in danger when there is no one on the bench that can take their place??

The only guys on the bench that I would willingly want to see starting are Bonera and Yoann (and we all know how Carlo feels about Yoan so that won't happen rolleyes.gif ) Simic might be another option but he hasn't played a competitve match since last season so not that reliable either. Carlo clearly has his favourites, it's like high school rolleyes.gif So we can forget that these guys will ever get the chance

If we had another coach then yes, I would also be hopeful but Yoann can do nothing right in Carlo's eyes.

He makes the cross for the winning goal against Palermo, what does Carlo do in return? Play 3 defensive mids in the next game instead of giving him another chance to build up his confidence. He is a young player and he needs to feel that the club is behind him, having the coach do that to you would be a big blow for someone who is his age and is still trying to get into the team and gain confidence.

I think I speak for all of us here when I say that everyone is behing this team no matter where we are, whether it's serie A or Serie Z, Intertoto or CL everyone here is behind the team.

But again, speaking for everyone here, we are all frustrated, with how the team is being run and coached. That's why this is a forum, we all come here to speak our oppinions and sometimes even vent our frustrations, which we all have a reason to right now.

But as I said, that doesn't mean that we are not still all 100% behind our team

On the Gourcuff issue, I personally think it's because while he's got talent, he just isn't Milan quality. I know it's a minority opinion on the board, but while Gourcuff's first touch is good, his second...isn't. I also don't like the fact that he, in essence, cheats. Lots of obvious dives, putting the ball outside the little corner marker thingy for a corner to get an extra couple of inches, etc. I won't be upset next season if he's (as is likely) gone.

I'm as clueless as to why he treats him the way he does as you mate. I just can't understand.

Players like Ambro and Seedorf play a terrible match and they still get the start game in game out, Yoann makes a bad pass in a game after not player more then 10 minutes in months and he gets hauled off the pitch immediately, he plays a good game and he still doesn't get the start when he deserves it.

I don't know what he has to do to get a start and be worthy t play for Carlo, and then a player like Brocchi or Favalli are cr@p and still get in, without any problems.

KillerMax
Our performances have been so convincing, we are making Pato play better and better with more determination every game... This is the team to learn from.

Frist lesson is from:

Seedorf: You stop a high ball gently with the cushion of your @ss and then you proceed with caution and slow movement until you are surrounded by 6 players. This is where you slowly look around and pass it back to Oddo. You ALWAYS pass it back to Oddo, the slowly looking around thing is just an uber trick Seedorf came up with to add a little drama to his play. Oddo will take it from here.

Oddo: OK, now you go deep and wait for his cross... Don't worry, it only takes him 18739717419874 times to get it right... freak.gif

Now when it comes to motivation, Pato needs to look no further than Pirlo. OK, granted a cabbage has more motivation than Pirlo, but you will find it if you look hard enough.

For courage, you got a roll model in Dida, cheering you on and getting injured all at the same from the bench. His fighting spirit and masculine energy is just too much for the pitch.

For fitness, you've got your ideal man in Ronaldo. Name an injury and he has suffered through it. I even heard he got a strain in or around his @sshole for farting once... You be the judge... Now you ask me, why is he the ideal fitness model? Well, he is not... He can tell you 999 ways NOT to get injured though...

Then for technique you got your main man Brocchi... From fabulous elastico's to his trademark little midget stepovers, Brocchi is your to go guy.

More helpful lessons for our new boy Pato in the coming weeks. Stay tuned and enjoy your slow deaths everyone. smile.gif

Here are the player ratings from milannews.it (the section of tuttomercatoweb devoted to Milan). They've put a heading on the ratings of 'Collective Disaster'.

Kalac 6
Oddo 4
- Brocchi 5.5
Maldini 5
Nesta 5
Favalli 4.5
- Kaladze sv
Gattuso 6.5
Pirlo 4
Seedorf 5
Ambrosini 6
Pato 5.5
Gilardino 4.5
- Paloschi 6.5

I agree with the ratings. Paloschi was the best player for Milan.

If he is not worthy of the Milan bench then neither are guys like Favalli and Brocchi, but not only are they much worse players then him but they still get the start before him. And who doesn't cheat in football these days? In fact it's a rarity to find a player who doesn't do it.

Imo it's all because Carlo doesn't like him, and nothing else. He's a classy enough player to be on our bench. We have far worse players on the bench then him
Tennie
I'm going to agree to disagree with dst on the Gourcuff issue. But I know mine is the minority opinion here.

And yep, I do think Nesta got a straight red. It was for dissent too.
