This will be difficuilt since we gave away 2 goals. But the players will have a point to prove against these whining b!tches.
I don't know if we'll have anyone else fit for this one aside from Robs, is there any word on whether VB can play?. Also, Allegri simply cannot start Muntari, he's a brainless idiot sent by Inter to sabatoge us. No wonder they paid us to take him. He's a regular Trojan Horse if you ask me

Aquilani has to start.
I'm thinking we'll go with something like this:
Antonini--Mexes--Thiago--Mesbah
Aqui--VB--Nocerino
Urby
Robs--Ibra

I think it's time we took every competition seriously. why not win both the Scudetto and the Coppa? besides we have failed to beat them every time we've played them this season which is not good at all for our image, this is our last shot to make up for it, we must take it. They cannot be thinking about Barca. Imo, this and the Roma game are far more important. The CL is out of our reach imo, we won't beat Barca over to legs and if we come anywhere near close the ref will step in and gift Barca a penalty or disallow us a goal or send off one of our players. It's expected from the refs and UEFA as this is what happens every season when Barca are involved. UEFA want a Real/Bayern vs Barca final and that is what they'll get

Agreed.
I'd be very happy with a domestic double plus sticking it to Juve. We've been better away from home this season plus we played the first leg when the entire team was a mess and we were going through a very bad patch.
We can surely get a result in this game, maybe not enough to go through but at least we'd have tried our best

Seedorf plays like **** against these small sides but usually raises his game on big occasions. why can't Zambro do the same? he has lots of experience and if fit, he can do defensive duties better than Abate (there are a few here who'll agree so it's not just me). there's enough time left until the Barca game for Zambro to get back in reasonable shape and Abate probably won't make it, so... do you think we got other choices?

Because if one player might perform better against tough sides doesn't mean everyone else can. And honestly, I don't think Seedorf is up to the task anymore. I don't think we've got better choices, no, but I also don't think Zambrotta is better defensively than Abate, who's by far our best fullback in all aspects.

Zambrotta is a smart player, he#ll obviously get burned if he has to take someone on for pace but positionally he's still the best FB we have. For Abate that doesn't look like such a flaw because he recovers quickly.
I'm not saying that Zambro is better than Abate, far from it. But he's not as bad as you're making him out to be. If he stays back and holds his position he won't get caught out easily. Certainly smarter than Antonini!

Yeah, as if defending is only about positioning. Let's not forget he's a fullback. His pushing forward contribution will be zero, and an opposition like Barça with pacy players will give him hell. The guy's rusty and loses the ball too often. His age has caught up to him and he should retire at the end of the season. But hey, what better choices do we have? Push Antonini on the right with Mesbah as LB? Or play Bonera instead of Abate? They're all crap solutions.

You really think the attackng aspect of our FBs game will be needed against Barca? If we want to get something out of that game than we have to play this smartly, going all out attack and pushing our sub-par FBs up to try and attack and get caught out is certainly not the way to go. In fact, if we had Nesta available I'd be all about a 3 man defensive line and we hit them on the counter.
Sort of a Napoli style of game, only far more sophisticated and with 3 top class CBs instead of 3 cr@ppy ones. I think it could work, and when we're trying to attack Thiago could easily move the ball up in midfield and spread play ala VB.

Allegri will rest Ibra and Thiago tomorrow. Our line-up should be: Amelia; Antonini, Mexes, Yepes, Mesbah; Aquilani, Muntari, Nocerino, Emanuelson; El Shaarawy, Maxi.
I guess we don't really care about reaching the final. Conte, on the other hand, said it will be the match of the year for them.

According to Mediaset, yes. The only reason I think why Allegri won't play Ambrosini would be that van Bommel can't recover for Roma, and considering Ambro can't play four games in 10 days (Parma, Juve, Roma, Barça), then he'll let him rest against Juve.

Kept possessesion for nearly the entire half with no decent result (reminded me of our last months with Carlo). Mesbah f**ks up in the easiest of circumstances (basically ran himself into trouble - literally) and we conceeded a stupid goal
All the same, we still need to score twice, but we're playing like headless chickens, can't see how we'll manage to accomplish that.
Allegri should have just played the primavera if this was the approach we were going to take. No use risking players
