excellent chance for levezi very lucky for us

And if the players don't play well? Surely them playing in a system you guys want and still not performing would prove that maybe it is the players under-performing?

A system we want?

This is far from it. His decision to keep including Urby still baffles me tbh
han2503
I can see us conceeding a couple on the counter.

It's the same BS as usual, we keep possession run into bricks walls and get countered

If the formation sucks and we lose, it's Allegri's fault. (fair enough)

If Allegri puts out the best formation possible and we don't win, it's still Allegri's fault because he didn't motivate them enough. (hah!)

If the best formation is put out and we win, still no credit goes to Allegri because it was the players winning it for him. (the "despite Max" thing)

Can't you see? there's no way in hell Max will get any credit whatsoever.

I won't waste my time arguing over this **** any more. I recommend you to drop it as well.
shevchenko_007
Miccoli in scorching form. Another goal for him.
han2503
Ibra finally wakes up and Robinho ruins it
shevchenko_007
Ibra will score this!

EDIT: Scratch that.

Hmm.

Lazio: Ambro started and you complained saying Urby should be starting instead.

Napoli: Urby starts are the decision baffles you, despite you wanting it the previous game.

Riiiiiight. Pretty much shows up your agenda right there, han.
shevchenko_007
This reminds me of the Inter game.. We dominate the whole game and then get hit on the counter. I hope it doesn't happen again tonight.
Napoli suck atm.

Hardly 'suck', since they don't lose many. But we shouldn't lose.

the way game is going it is the way napoli want it imo

I obviously have my distain for Robi, but is it me or is he awful. surely he has decent movement, but no control, non-threatening shots, diving and yelling at ppl who are doing their jobs...

atm mean "at the moment" meaning in this game, which they do because they can't string 2 passes together.

Robinho is not doing anything...getting outmuscled everywhere.

Roma 2-0 up!!

I said Urby because I know that's something that Allegri would at least consider to start.

I personally wanted Seedorf there and we go with 3 up front but Allegri would never even consider that

Even if I don't want Urby starting, anything is better than Ambro
William405
Robinho-Maxi
Emmanuelson-El sharaawy

I'd like Seedorf to always plays as our playmaker, best solution for our midfield atm.

Then it's not exactly baffling is it, given that Ambro and a kid are our only other real CM options. Think a MVB, Nocerino, Seedorf midfield would get oway over run.

I'd bring off Robi for Maxi/El Sha.

El Sha for Robi. We don't need another prima punta i would think

Just as I said at the beginning. Binho is going through an awful phase at the moment and is basically just taking a space up. Bring on El Shaarawy and let him run at them devilsmiley.gif
Fillipo Simone
Robinho is utterly useless and proves this match after match. Such a dreadful season for him.

Now, back to the coach issue. You know what...this is how I see it finally: February is the decisive month for us on all fronts. We've already lost against Lazio, won against Cagliari in an unimpressive manner and lost earlier on against Inter. I don't see Milan is in the right mindset to overcome these hard fixtures. And Allegri lacks to much the preparational skills of a so many times mentioned Ancelotti or Capello, so IMO our chances to surpass victoriously this month look rather grim.

My stream just did a segment of half time analysis called "sloppy milan".
This pommy guy is just bagging out the Serie A and Milan.. I'd love to do an analysis on "sloppy EPL" although I would need about 5 hours for one round.

Well i can't say i've ever thought robinho was truly good for us, he just runs best off of Ibra, but follows up with poor touches and what more is there to say about his finishing...
I_Rossoneri
1st half stats: Milan 0-0 Napoli: Possession: %64-%36. Shots(OnTarget): 6(2)-6(1). PassAccuracy: %85-%72. Corners: 4-5.

We need to start turning that possession into goals...

So you think Fabio and Carlo were bad coaches? Because they are dull as hell. But they still win.

And who cares how they play? He won the Scudetto with a pretty poor and ageing squad. "talented squad". laugh.gif

Talk about boring, negative, crappy football so far today, could we be any worse?

Have you actually seen the Capello Milan and the Ancelotti Milan at their heights? With Ancelotti we played some of the most offensive and attractive football in Europe.

He had an excellent season last season, and he compliments Ibra better than almost anyone, but when he's bad he's awful.
d'Arc.LP
Antonini should go off for El Shaarawy and Seedorf for Maxi Lopez. Then we play:

Abbiati
Abate - Mexes - Silva - Emanuelson
van Bommel - Nocerino
Robinho - Ibrahimovic - El Shaarawy
Maxi Lopez

Milan bench: Amelia (GK), Mesbah, Bonera, Zambrotta (DEF), Ambrosini (MID), El Shaarawy, Maxi Lopez (ATT).

And Carlo's last years? Fabio under England/Madrid? They were/are dull as hell.

And of course they were good at their heights, they had a FAR better team, man for man. Maybe Ibra would get into those teams, maybe, and that's it. When Max has a ridiculous amount of money to spend and some of the top players in the World, we'll play some of the most dominating football again. (though he'll never get the money).

I think kurtsimonw is actually Allegri in disguise with the way he's defending him.. So I am just keeping my Allegri opinions to myself from now on, which may be wise for everyone else.

Yep, I think we should reserve judgement for mid-March

It looks like Abbiati has some muscular problems. Amelia is set to replace him.

Amelia for Abbiati. Another injury...

The last two seasons he had a piss poor squad which was half as good as Allegri's. But yes, it was dull football from times, on that we agree.

Problem is, even with the team Ancelotti had in 2003-2008 I don't see Allegri handling the creativity issue so well as Carletto. I can't imagine him having the guts to play with Sergio and Cafu as fullbacks and having Seedorf and Kaka with Pippo and Sheva. But...that's another story, let's stop here.
