Milan will be playing their first Coppa Italia game of the season on Thursday (in the round of 16) against Bari.
Pirlo could possibly make a reappearance (after his injury lay off).
So um... yea - See Sig. <
Forza Milan!!!>
EDIT: Oh Yeah, and Amelia was injured in training (estimation 1 month out)

...
So, Roma (our 3rd keeper) will be making his debut for us in an official competition after signing for us in 2009.

Pato - robinho
Flamini - Strasser - Ambrosini - Merkel
De Vito - Yepes - Sokratis - Abate
Amelia
Amelia is out for a month so Roma will play. I think Bonera will start and Yepes as centre at centre backs and Sokratis or Oddo on the right to rest Abate. Antonini playing wingback. The mid field will most likely be Ambrosini and Pirlo with Strasser or Merkel, but most likely Merkel and and the player behind the strikers will either by Merkel thats if Strasser plays mid. It will be a good chance to get Cassano back fitness so we can play him in these crucial Serie A games from the start. With Pato and Robinho as the strike partner ship but i think he might rest Pato and play Oduamadi instead which is a good choice imo Pato does'nt need to play this game it is Bari after all. A good time for the youth to get some playing time.

I think Allegri will be resting only a few of the usual starters i.e Nesta, Ambrosini, Seedorf, Ibrahimovic. I think the rest will be regularly played.

http://www.milannews.it/?action=read&idnotizia=43254According to milannews.it, Silva and Yepes will start at CB and Oddo at RB.
Since it seems that Allegri won't paly Sokratis even if his life depends on it, it might be a good idea to send him on loan for the rest of the season (didn't Bari wanted him?).

I don't see the point in resting Pato. At the moment is he not more important than Robinho, and he hasn't played too much lately, so...

Terribly unfair to Papa.

What's the worst he can do, it's Coppa and it's Bari, as a first team player, he at least deserves a start. I absolutely hate coaches who freeze out players. Sure a guy may not be in the coach's plans, but to completely shut him out is just meh.

If Papa does not get to play at all in this game then something that wasn't leaked has happened between him and Allegri. It just cannot only be a case of falling out with him at this point.

Even so, Allegri sees him at training every day, so his judgement is far more trustworthy than ours. Now, I know Allegri makes stupid choices every once in a while, but perhaps Sokratis is simply not that good.

isn't he a fullback aswell maybe he doesnt fit into Allegri's tactical plans i mean hes more of a RB back then Wingback like Abate hopefully he can play CB , i'm sure we will see him play soon Nesta or Thiago need a rest sooner or later.....

His main role is CB. He can also play as RB, but from we saw in pre-season, he's not particularly good at it.

Probabile line-up:
Roma
Oddo - T. Silva - Yepes - Antonini
Strasser - Ambrosini - Flamini
Merkel
Pato - Cassano
Pirlo should play a few minutes in the second half.
Edit: After watching StudioSport, we should be playing like this:
Roma
Oddo - Nesta - Yepes - Antonini
Gattuso - Ambrosini - Merkel
Robinho
Cassano - Ibrahimovic
Weird line-up.

Robinho and Cassano should start. Robinho didn't play on the weekend, and Cassano needs to get his match fitness

I think Pato-Robinho and behind them Cassano would be a decent trio. The cb's shouldn't be starters, and oddo can play as a full back, and Antonini isn't any tired,so it'll be good having him.The important thing is that we have a midfeild that will be able to support the trio.I think Strasser-Flamini-Merkel(or someone else) combo could do us good.Pirlo entering the match later if needed.

And great to see Merkel play even though he didn't impress that much against Cagliari.

I never really got the hatred to Oddo.
Yes sometimes his end product is a bit off, but for work rate and defensive capabilities he's better than what we currently have, certainly above Antonini and Abate.

Gattuso is useless,I don't know why isn't Strasser is playing. He just running from box to box,he isn't being efficient at defending, and we has the ball,he loses it.
