Milan starting to play....it was all Ajax in the first 30 minutes

Amelia really gives me a secure feeling, Abbiati might accomplish the spactecular on occasion but he's also prone to making howlers, Amelia does the simple things well, while also making some great saves

agreed abbaiti has been pretty good but i prefer him over abbaiti for some reason as well

owas that a bad/boring half.We're trying the long ball to Robinho/Dinho and it isn't working.We we're pressed in our half,Ambrosini was horrible/unwatchable.

Standout player for the half is definitely Amelia; he has stopped everything thrown at him and convincingly so.

A rather boring first half - Milan are finding it hard to impose themselves on the game (for instance our build up here & there has been alright, but were not making use of the couple chances we got so far)

Shots on target are lacking thus far.

All in all though, not to say we are playing terribly (just more like lost) - A half time talk is needed, time to refocus.

Naah, a match and a half of Amelia is hardy enough to make a conclusion.

Yep Ambro was terrible, some really horrible passing.

The long ball tactic is just as stupid when we do it when Ibra is on and it's our only tactic, it's even more moronic when you have 2 dribblers up front who aren't particularly good in the air.

We had a brief 10 minute spell where Seedorf, Dinho and Robs really started to get on the ball, and we could see some real potential, but the midfield, aside from Pirlo has been cr@p in terms of passing, they win it and then throw it away with a terrible pass

For a start, the no-striker line-up, which isn't exactly anyones fault.

id have to disagree he had the ball one on one in the final third and 10 seconds later ameila was looking at passing options

The team looks completely disinterested. Yepes and Amelia have been the best from our side, Ambrosini playing one of his worst games. I can see us losing 1-0.

Amelia has been a wall whenever he's played, yet Abbiati has made some really terrible mistakes, he's masked them by pulling off something spectacular in the next game, but I'd still rather have someone reliable then someone who could either pull off a miracle or make a horrible mistake

Our problem is that we're trying to play the long ball to 2 dribblers who aren't that good in the air, we need to play the ball on the ground, and let Seedorf, Pirlo and Dinho on it as much as possible. Problem is, the passing in midfield has been so bad that we can't do that.

This is a disaster season for Italian football. So many lost matches, knocked-out teams, lost points, not even a single team looking confident and winning points. Absolutely dreadful.
