I think he'll start both Pippo and Pato , but considering we are away maybe he will revert back to the christmas tree.
Tennie
Here's mediaset's projected lineup and bench:

Milan (4-3-1-2): Abbiati; Zambrotta, Favalli, Maldini, Jankulovski; Flamini, Pirlo, Ambrosini; Beckham; Inzaghi, Pato. A disposizione: Dida, Senderos, Antonini, Seedorf, Kakà, Ronaldinho, Shevchenko.

They don't think Bonera's fit (remember he signalled to come off last week. some sort of thigh injury).
kurtsimonw
Whatever happened to the days where a coach would reward the XI that won the last game with giving them all starts in the next match? This is a HUGE managerial flaw, in my opinion. Players come into the team, get the job done, then just because players like Seedorf or Ronaldinho come back from injury, they get put back into the team in expense of somebody that does an okay job.. regardless of the fact that they've barely done anything this season.

Abbiati, Dida, Kalac; Antonini, Darmian, Favalli, Jankulovski, Maldini, Senderos, Zambrotta; Ambrosini, Beckham, Emerson, Flamini, Pirlo; Inzaghi, Kakà, Pato, Shevchenko, Ronaldinho.
Indisponibili: Bonera, Borriello, Kaladze, Nesta, Gattuso, Seedorf.

seedorf not available while i doubt that kaka and r80 will start so somethng like last week team(defence will be different) with kaka and r80 coming on later

Wonder what's happening to Mattioni, his name isn't on the call up nor the injury list.
Tennie
No clue what's up with Mattioni. There's been very little mention of him recently.

I like this kind of calling up players,No Seedorf and Kaladze!
Tennie
For what it's worth (and we know he changes his mind sometimes), Ancelotti said Kaka and Ronaldinho would start on the bench tomorrow. He also said that Gattuso's rehab was going very well and that he could be playing in May. It also sounds like Beckham may be trequartista again - which makes me think we'll go for a 2-striker formation.
dst
No Seedorf again!? I'm being spoiled! biggrin.gif
kurtsimonw
Racist..
MizNelson
I'm ecstatic at the lack of Seedorf, but am still peeved that Carlo continues to start Beckham for whatever reason.
kurtsimonw
Beckhams only had about 2 bad games since he joined! He's arguably been one of our best players in that period too
MizNelson
Two bad games? After he scored his first goals, he was invisible for a month and resurfaced just last week. Not bad for someone for whom honoring a contract is a foreign concept.

Great, the only bookstore in my neighborhood that sold Football Italia is closing. dry.gif
kurtsimonw
I think he's been one of our more consistant players, we'll just have to disagree there though.

As for honouring contracts.. he was sold by United, he finished his contract at Madrid and is going back to LA, I can't see what more he could do to be honest. Beckham, as a player can't make anything happen, the buying club are also not honouring the contract and the selling club are obviously happen for him to do so.. otherwise why agree to it?

SIENA: Curci; Zuniga, Portanova, Brandao, Del Grosso; Vergassola, Codrea, Barusso, Kharja; Maccarone, Calaiò.
MILAN: Abbiati; Zambrotta, Maldini, Favalli, Jankulovski; Flamini, Pirlo, Ambrosini; Beckham; Inzaghi, Pato.
Fillipo Simone
Decent Siena line-up. Will be an interesting match.
han2503
Not happy about the 2 DMs

Hopefully one of Kaka or Dinho will be ready to come on at some point so Beckham can move back in midfield.

And hopefully Ambro has a good game, something he hasn't done all season long

I don't agree, Ambro had some very good matches a few months back then (first round).

If he had good matches they were very few and far between.

Expecially these last few months before he got injured, he was playing terribly.

And ack for Abbiati. Let's all join the honorary Dida fan club for today!

Interesting, the bet365 commentary said "Dida hasn't been the same ever since that flame-thorw incident against Inter". Hmh...
Fillipo Simone
Again, Pirlo almost costed us...

I don't think that makes sense at all...
han2503
We're making bad passes and putting ourselves under pressure
Fillipo Simone
Ancelotti and a red scarf??
han2503
Terrible defending!!!!!

Ambro and Janku get shrugged off like they're not even there. We're asking them to score
han2503
Our defenders making Maccarone look like a cross between Ronaldo and Ronaldinho rolleyes.gif

janku is defintly much better in midfield

laugh.gif

He's a good player though. has always troubled our defense.
han2503
Siena players being left with acres of space to put in crosses, and that's not just it, we leave their strikers with time and space to head and shoot at our goal.

The passing has so far been horrible, Ambro, Janku and Beckham all giving the ball away.

Pippo has been invisible so far
Tennie
btw, Reggina's Corradi just scored - not the best of starts for donadoni's Napoli.

(And the CRA notes sourly that Chievo just scored on Lazio).

EDIT: make that two for Chievo. Lazio's keeper Muslera is down too. sad.gif
