Well. I'd say the team as a whole came to play today. There was some beautiful passing - the midfield is finally working - and some very nice work by Kaka-Pato-Seedorf. Some hiccups in the defense - Maldini and the maybe-foul that led to a penalty, Senderos' bad mistake (but he did some good things too) and Favster should play in the middle cos he's better there - but in general well done.

No Zlatan for them so there is a good chance.

I get all excited when I think about how great Pato can be.

Unfortunately, there's also no Cassano for Samp. But there is hope for a good result.

(Hate to seem irreverent, Il Capitano, but that photo of Pato in your avatar....well, he looks a bit like a hobbit.)

His awerness and movement are great, his speed and skill on the ball are amazing. The only thing I think he needs to improve on are his finishing and passing. He sometimes makes stray passes that put us inder pressure.

Just imagine what he'll be like once he hits the 23/24 mark
