I think sensible fans realised a long time ago 4-3-1-2 was the system that works. It was evident last season, you only had to look at the results to see that.

But still lack of a creative midfielder is punishing us! Gattuso is doing good as a creative mid, but it's not enough. Flamini is not involved much. either him or Emerson could make way for a new face [=Cardacio], someone who the opponent don't know anything about.

Another issue. No creative midfielder in that trio leaves us short of ideas. That's the position we should have targeted in the summer, because when Seedorf is injured we have no-one to fill in for him. Ambrosini, Flamini and Gattuso aren't creative.

Well it would be perfectly fine if those 20-25 minutes resulted in a goal or two since it would force the opposition to press harder for a goal and leave more space. Unfortunately right now were not decisive and miss chances we should put away.

What an entertaining match, I didn't expect Milan to play like this. It just shows that we need to play with 2 strikers. Pato and Shevchenko looked threatening at times. Only the finishing is off. We need a special goal.
Kaka' was partially correct in his statement, the presence of Ronaldinho limited his effects on the game, but I think it's due to the christmas tree formation.

Cardacio from what I saw against Lazio, is much like Flamini. not exactly Pirlo/Seedorf. Viudez has nothing to do with a creative midfielder!

Even if Cardacio is a creative mid, I didn't count him because he's not going to play.

We never bought a star creative midfielder in the past few seasons. someone established enough so Carlo trusts him enough to actually let him play.

Jankulovski has moved into midfield. Same formation, but with Jankulovski now acting as a creative midfielder.
