Maybe they were playing him for the same reason other people are being played: it's early in the season and not everyone is match fit.

Pippo's case is different (to other people's cases); he's 34 and... fragile.
Tennie
I don't think it's different at all, zd. Gonna respectfully disagree with you on this one.

HT 0-0.

From the text commentary, Senderos apparently made a mistake that could've been a kaladzity but Abbiati was attentive and saved the shot on goal.

Pato seems to be doing reasonably well.

Cardacio seems to be doing well.

Carletto is apparently not happy with the team, though.

Unfortunately we don't care how well Inter do in friendlies! And it's no excuse for this result at the moment.

The hell with 2 goals and a yellow card! Pippo injured himself - which according to Gazzetta it looked like a muscle tear.

Two of which are irrelevant friendly games.

I believe Abbiati... unless he was subbed at half time, which could happen in friendlies.

Of course I'm not really happy about this game... but I'm glad to see that Kaka is back... apparently he's made a full recovery.

Besides that one mistake, how did Senderos do?

I don't think friendlies are games to which big teams go to lose! it was the other way around as far as I remember. what really worries me is the game between these two friendlies, which we of course lost. three defeats in a row, no matter if they're some useless friendlies or the first game of the season, is not a good indication. but as I said I'm just looking forward to our next game.

Since I happen to be disagreed with a lot recently: JUST MY OPINION smile.gif

Okay.

Well, of course I'm not happy. But I see we were missing several players... including two currently playing against Georgia (quite well from what I hear)... Pirlo we need you...

Hello m1ke!!!

Sad. sad.gif Mike can't do much at the moment, he's already opened the registrations. I dread to think what it would have been like if he didn't. Summer is usually slow, yes, but this one's taking it's time. Almost everyone is busy.

Its a friendly, moreover most of Milan's first team is on international duty. So I don't really think this result emphasizes how the team is doing

I'm pretty sure the team will be low on confidence after our loss to Bologna, but now losing to a team like this won't help our morale going into the rest of the season. dry.gif
Rossoneri7
^^^

With a fit and confident Kaka', I think there is no stopping this team cool.gif

EDIT: Milan: Abbiati (Kalac 46); Bonera, Senderos (Pasini 46), Maldini (Favalli 46), Antonini; Cardacio, Emerson, Ambrosini; Seedorf; Inzaghi (Angelilli 17) (Kaka 46), Pato

It was Abiatti in goal to concede the first and Kalac conceded the second in added time.

Only a Genoa win could avoid a possible disastrous run. the team will be mentally shattered if we lose our next game.

JUST MY OPINION.

A couple of missing players should not matter agaisnt a team like Lugano.

Exactly but it's a friendly it doesn't matter, just like the ones in pre season, everyone was saying they were just frienlies, but to me they were an indication of how bad we really were and here we are, conceeding cheap goals in Serie A games, JUST like we did in the pre season.

But I guess they still don't matter since they're just friendlies rolleyes.gif

Playing Abbiati was completely pointless, as he had nothing to prove. You don't use your starting keeper in a hole-in-the-wall friendly like this.
kurtsimonw
Does anybody realise this is also just a friendly for Lugano. They're trying just as less as we are!

Well, they had pride on their side, something we seem to have fewer of with each passing season.

No, Lugano were obviously sweating blood and tears out there rolleyes.gif But Milan were just strolling through having a jog, forget the emberrasment of losing to a 2nd division Swiss team by 2 goals rolleyes.gif

Hopefully we'll actually play well next Sunday and manage a win, because this is getting a bit ridiculous
