Thanks guys. smile.gif Seems like all is well with the world.

I'm not too sure about the number 7, though, Kurt, but you never know. I like the idea about scoring however. And if it happens I hope they make a good camera work out of it for all the parties involved (Sheva, the team, the fans, and maybe a glimpse of Galliani and Mr. B for good measure). Oh the memories! sad.gif Don't mess it up Carlo. Don't.

If Sheva isn't wearing number 7, I'll punch Galliani in the face. I also like the idea of him scoring, and I'm sure he'll make it happen!

I believe that Sheva could get the #7 again..But however, i think it is couteous for him to leave it for Pato even if Pato is willingly humble enough to give up the legendary #7...I don't think Sheva would take the #7 from pato...It could stir up anger even with fans...So he should follow the footsteps of Ronaldinho and flamini..We'll just have to wait and see which number he actually gets..
Tennie
Here's the lineup the fish doll would like to see:

Abbiati
Zambrotta Maldini Bonera Jankulovski
Flamini Pirlo Ambrosini
Ronaldinho
Pippo Pato

It'd be nice to see two strikers starting.smile.gif
Bluesummers
i dont think carlo is going to change his tactics since we have been using it for so long. It will be hard for some players like seedorf to adapt.

If Sheva gets the number 7 then to me that would mean Boriello being on his way out. Pato has always said that he prefered the #11, he wore it at his old club. So Sheva getting the number 7 to me would mean the #11 being open once again for Pato

Wow, that's a pretty big bet to make. rolleyes.gif You never know with these things, plus they're only shirt numbers. I'd not be a bit surprised to find Borriello in the squad come the season starts (we'd have heard some rumors if it was otherwise). Guess, we'll see.

There are a rumours that both Roma and now Tottenham are interested, who knows if it's true and if Milan are really willing to sell...

As for my assumption, if Pato does give up his #7 shirt then I personally think it would be only to get #11, which is Borriello's and I don't think he would give up his number if he were to stay. That's my personal view on how things could go.

Sheva said that he didn't mind which number he get as long as it has a 7 in it, so I don't think the number issue is really that much of a problem

I'd appreciate it if they don't. dry.gif We'd look awfully stupid half-way through the season. Quote me on this. Maybe some other time, once we know how good of a player he is.

Could be. smile.gif But Sheva accepting the number 7 would be very cheap on his part, whether or not Pato gives it to him. It's not like he owned the number. If he wanted it so bad, why leave? 77 doesn't sound too bad, as high as it seems.

Agreed. It shouldn't be. It's a frigging number for crying out loud. laugh.gif It's not like wearing a certain number sends fear in opposition defenders, and makes you score more goals.

Gallardos are good, I may own one down in the future (depending on how much money/oil I have to spare). But Murciélago owns everything. cool.gif And everyone. Oh, the sound. I've heard of old people falling down from stairs when they had a Lambo drive by their village. Ouch! Beauty, huh?

Lamborghini's are good but they are a one-ride vehicles... they break down too easily... I'm not sure how can the Italian police preserve these machines...

As for the sound... I'm not a fan of their cars or motorbikes but Honda's are unbeatable in that department! The sound their engines produce is music. And then there is the Alfa Romeo 8C... oh my...

Simple. They don't use them! wink.gif Much.

Only when there's a high-profile (and high-speed) car chase with criminals. Usually these are locked in. However, I agree about the bit about the Lambos sometimes breaking down. And darn, their spare parts are so expensive! blink.gif However, when it comes to exterior look no other car beats them. In my opinion.

Leet is short for Elite. Some cool hacker dude thought that it would be a cool thing to make up their own lingo so that they could pwn everyone. And so, they switched letters with looky-likey numbers eg A became 4, I became 1, l became 1, O became 0, E became 3 and so on. And they thought they were a world apart for typing such. Hence, leet speak. Kapisce?

Wasn't 77 given to Antonini?
So what would be the difference with him taking Pato's number over another player? (just to kick up a fuss)
Imo - if he can't get seven he has to take a 'new' (avaliable) number one time.
Other than the 7, I think 76 would be the only other real option (given the stupid trend at Milan at the moment).
Personally I am not one to care too much about what number a player wears, because the players make the numbers not the next way around.
All in all I don't mind whatever number Sheva gets, but I am certainly not a 'fan' of the big (D.O.B.) number trend.

Antonini = 77. Why do I keep forgetting that. mad.gif It seems like Sheva does too, like he said in his interview. Ha! Anyway, point being, any number other than 7 is okay.

Today's training has taken place.

After yesterday's rest day, the team focused on the ball, with tactical exercises and a practice game.

During training, Phillipe Senderos finished the last part of his medical. Rino and Pippo took part in training after their respective injuries and today was the first group training day of Andriy Shevchenko. He's back in Milan after having had to go to London to get a work visa there from the Italian embassy.

Today's training also saw the return of Ronaldinho and Pato. The two Brazilians followed the entire training session with the team.

The training today was at a good rhythm and a good atmosphere.

Tomorrow, there'll be 2 training sessions.

Fakey fakey! biggrin.gif Carlo doesn't like Sheva that much, as you can see in this photo. He even went on to call him a bit of a traitor in an earlier interview. Not a good thing to do. Having said that, I'm sure they'll get along fine - they're grownups after all.

“I think it will be easy for us against Milan,” said Arrigoni.

“In any case we have always fought hard and it was really tough for us last season as we were under tons of pressure.

“We had to fight one year to play in Serie A and we are delighted to begin.”
