CrazyMilanFan
biggest win since athens 07
Tennie
Whoa. Just checked other scores. Siena beat the Zebras 1-0.

And in a result I'm happy to see, Toro beat Napoli 2-1. Good for Toro, especially today (the anniversary of the Superga disaster).

+1. Great video, Hab. Can't wait for the clash. And of course, anything can happen on the field, but I'd much rather go in with 2-1 or 3-2 for us. We're at our best and they are not. We should go for, and win at all costs. No can do with a draw! mad.gif

A big win, the first half we were the much better team, the 2nd half was fairly equal. Overall I'd say we deserved it.

4th place is in our hands now, don't f*ck it up! Hopefully our players don't turn up next week thinking it's a won game because it's against a smaller team!

Ambro the best player on the field king.gif

Pirlo played a very average game, he was poor at times, instead of Rino he should have gone out, even though they didn't want to play, we owned the merda so much I can believe it, this shows the level of their stupid coach biggrin.gif cool.gif

What a horrible day! There was NOTHING good to say about this match! Milan pwned us and in fact embarrassed us! Mancini showed how much a fucking jackass he is! Milan are in the UCL next season! And we once again have to settle with beating Siena for the Scudetto just like last year! Brilliant!

QUOTE
Games like this are reasons why we're not respected by anyone! Not even the last placed teams!

Hell no one fears us right now! And if I weren't a dioe hard Inter fan I would say Roma deserves the title!

QUOTE
Inter are renowned for choking and it will happen again this season. We have to play Parma on the last day of the season. They are struggling against relegation and we have never been strong at the Tardini. On present form, we can kiss our 16th Scudetto goodbye

I resent that. I think you're making fun of us...silver lining people. biggrin.gif

But then again, the pazza inter people are inter fans, they haven't been winning as much as we have. So they really haven't gotten the time to go into denial about the team's fortunes.

I don't grudge Inter the trophy anymore. biggrin.gif We beat them.

Now if Pippo would get selected for Euros that would be totally cool.

Nevertheless let's not get too ahead of ourselves. Neither Napoli nor Udinese are bad opponents. And I fear this recent run of good results, might cause some complacency. The only benefit is I think neither of our two opponents have a huge lot to play for except pride. Not much to gain, not too much to lose.
I_Rossoneri
Absolutely fantastic weekend for us, it feels more like a CL win to me smile.gif

Anything less than a Milan win would have been a travesty though as we totally dominated until our second goal. That seemed to wake them up, and they did look dangerous then. Yet again though Ambro was a liability with his ridiculous fouling just outside the box mad.gif he really needs to learn to tackle.

Anyway great game and I did have a good feeling about today as well smile.gif But we need to win next week now and keep the pressure on Fio. If they can hopefully lose next week then 4th should be ours along with CL next season where we belong devilsmiley.gif

I said it was time to believe at the start of the game and it worked, now we have to believe in fourth spot wink.gif

win next week i think will seal 4th for us bcoz parma has the ability to hold voila and they will be without mutu

Ambrosini is anything but a liability, true he conceded the FK but it was Kalac's poor positioning which led to the goal.

If Ambro is a liability for conceding the FK to led to the goal what about Maldini? His foul led to Juve's third goal, and was partially at fault for Cambiasso's goal in the last derby and Del Piero's equaliser against Juve

By the same token is he not a liability?
morgoth
Ambro was the man of the match. He conceded a free kick yes, but it's not like he gave them the goal, it was well played by the merda players and Kalac didn't even see the ball.

after Ambro gave away the freekick which led to their goal he did it again, and I've seen him give many freekicks away because he can't tackle properly. So I'l stickk with point that he is a liability.

As for San paolo, I don't understand your point?!?! Yes he has made mistakes this season(especially), but he is 40 and has done so much for us that I can overlook his indiscresions(sp?). I think comparing Paolo and Ambro is a rather tenuous thing to do wink.gif
mishie
i wasn't criticizing Kalac for his game just the positioning on the free kick and he made a great save from Chivu's free kick. no weak links for me today everyone played a great game and Seedorf and Kaka espically were awesome!

Ambrosini bullied Viera into submission. It was his tackle which and pass which led to Kaka's goal

Your second point, is a glowing example of why (some) people on this board have double standards. Maldini is 40 so its okay if he makes mistakes? When did we allow sentimentality cloud our judgement.

Comparing the two captains is not tenuous, they are both leaders, both command their fields of play and both have undying loyalty to the club. They have more in common than you would like to admit.

ok, i know i said this last week...but it is officially official! i'm done watching milan games for the season!

i take full blame for the awful year we've had...since i've stopped watching games milan has out shined every team on the field.

Here are datasport's player ratings:

Kalac 5
Bonera 6
Kaladze 6
Jankulovski 6
Nesta 6
Favalli 5.5
Ambrosini 7
Pirlo 6.5
Seedorf 7
Gattuso 6
Brocchi 6
Kaka` 8
Pato s.v.
Inzaghi 8

(I mostly agree with the ratings, though I'd probably have given Nesta a slightly higher mark just for that lovely slide tackle on Suazo.)

QUOTE
Milan

Kalac – 6.5: Slightly nervy at times but made one excellent stop from Crespo’s one-on-one and also produced a smart stop from Maxwell’s free kick.

Bonera - 7: Impressive display from the former Parma man, who was equally adept both defensively and offensively. His crossing was also good.

Nesta – 7.5: Proved once again why he is one of, if not the best, centre back in the world. Gave a lesson in the art of slide tackling today.

Kaladze – 6.5: The Georgian breezed through the first 60 minutes without working up a sweat, but had to be alert as Inter upped the ante late in the game.

Favalli – 7: Excellent in the first half before he was forced off on 41 minutes with an ankle injury. Bombed forward repeatedly down the left-hand side. A real surprise.

Ambrosini – 9: Superb in the middle-of-the-park. Ambrosini was first to every ball, got stuck in, distributed well, and was a real leader. Created Kaka’s goal, and won his battle with Vieira hands down.

Gattuso – 7.5:
Gattuso’s most impressive game for Milan possibly this season. Won every tackle he went in for, and was a real presence. Did tire though and was eventually substituted.

Pirlo – 6: Far from his best game, but still Pirlo started many of Milan’s moves with some neat and clever passes. His free kicks were disappointing.

Seedorf – 8.5: Such a delight to watch when he in this form. One of the few old-school number 10’s left in the game. Inter could not get the ball off him.

Kaka – 8.5: If it wasn’t already evident – Kaka is back. Created Milan’s first for Inzaghi, scored the second, while he also presented SuperPippo with two excellent chances in the first half. Rivas couldn’t handle him.

Inzaghi – 8.5: His movement is at times unplayable. Inzaghi broke the deadlock following a trademark run to the near post. He could have scored four today, twice being denied by Julio Cesar, and heading centimetres wide. Must go to Euro 2008.

Subs: Jankulovski 6, Brocchi 6, Pato 5.5

Inter

Julio Cesar – 7: Kept the scores level in the first half, with one particularly fine save when Inzaghi raced through. Could do little on the two strikes that beat him.

Maicon – 8: Inter’s best player today by far. Was doing the work of two men down the right hand side, both in a defensive and offensive sense.

Materazzi – 4: A horror show from Materazzi once again. Crucified by Kaka for Inzaghi’s goal, he made countless mistakes and poor clearances. His positioning would have embarrassed even a Sunday league player. If he starts for Italy at Euro 2008 in this form, then kiss their Euro 2008 chances goodbye.

Rivas – 4.5: Marginally better than the Matrix, but not by much. Lost Inzaghi for the first goal, was twice beaten one-on-one by Kaka in the first half, and struggled throughout.

Chivu – 6: The Romanian rarely went past the half way line, as he was forced back by Bonera’s attacking thrusts. Free kicks were a little disappointing too, especially the one in injury time at the end.

Zanetti – 6: This was not one of the Inter captain and legend’s better games. Could not drive his team forward like he usually does.

Cambiasso – 5.5: What has happened to the Cambiasso from the first half of the season? Still tactically fine, but he is not imposing himself on games at the moment.

Vieira – 5: Clearly lost out in his battle against Ambrosini, who robbed him of the ball in the build up to Kaka’s goal. Vieira has been superb recently, but not today.

Maniche – 5: Very poor as well was the Portuguese international. A couple of long-range efforts but little else. The Inter team lacked width in midfield.

Cruz – 7: Struggled almost the entire game, but did curl home a wonderful free kick to get Inter back in the game, and set-up a tense finale.

Crespo – 5: Made absolutely no impact whatsoever, and missed a one-on-one at 2-0. Inter improved once he was substituted,  and teenage wonder Balotelli came on.

Subs: Balotelli 6.5, Suazo 6.5, Maxwell 6.5

I agree mostly with it. Personally i dont think Favalli was brilliant, but was solid nontheless

biggrin.gif Careful Warchant.

Next I'll hear a press release with Galliani saying, that Milan do not need any transfers. We have identified the problems with our team, and it is because of an American fan, who has assured us he shall not watch Milan games this season.

We have essentially paid him a million euros to not watch Milan games again, and so by winning his support, in a way he is our summer signing. tongue.gif
