I don't think he's too bothered.
When you are married to someone like her I don't think you mind too much about what comes out of her mouth.
No, you'd be more concerned with what goes into it, and how often. devil.gif (Sorry)

Borriello. Adebayor doesn't quite look like a sexy boy, does he?

No idea, I'm straight & have never put the words sexy and guy in the same sentence (until now.)

Unless of course, you knew that physical attractiveness wasn't the reason you were together. I mean she said Borriello looks good. Not that she'd rather be with him than Gigi. biggrin.gif

Borriello hurt his right knee in training today. He'll have an exam (presumably an MRI) tomorrow. No news at this point if it's a bad injury or not.

Aiee. Well, that's that. Paloschi absolutely must stay now.
han2503
Well that leaves ud with only the injury prone Pippo as our only true pure striker.

I'm becoming more and more convinced that Milan and Borriello are not made for each other... there's something wrong.

This is what i didnt like about Milan strategy in market in past 2 years , how inter can calm their 6 attacker and we fear for one more ! someone like Eto'o , Berbatov and maybe Shevchenko !
vahid
His injury is a good news,Now let's sign an average striker like Shevchenko!

Ronaldo , oh if we only get him back then all of europe will escape from europe

only one of them will be the killer of every team in the world

Ronaldinho + Ronaldo + Kaka + Pato

Come again?

Meaning if we have the Brazil attacking quadrant (Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Kaka, Pato), European football teams (as in clubs) will leave Europe. laugh.gif He's right on this count, I can't see us not winning every match if these four play. Consistently. We'll have the best attack in the world, coupled with our midfield, and usually solid defense.

(from acmilan.com's italian page)MILANO - L'A.C. Milan comunica che il calciatore Marco Borriello è stato sottoposto oggi a una risonanza magnetica al ginocchio destro. Il giocatore si recherà mercoledì prossimo ad Anversa per sottoporsi a visita specialistica dal professore Marc Martens.

[AC Milan announces that the player Marco Borriello had an MRI on his right knee today. The player will fly to Anvers (Belgium) this coming Wednesday for a consultation with Professor Marc Martens.]

At least they're sending him to a good doctor - Martens is the guy who's operated on Il Capitano.

So....who should Milan buy?

Buy Gomez or other similar striker if they come cheap. Otherwise call back Ronaldo and try to get Sheva on a loan. biggrin.gif I really don't see us investing in a top class forward now that R80 is here.

And by all means keep Paloschi.
misha
I think will try to get someone on loan or for really cheap (just like Galliani likes)

Yeah like it worked so well for Brazil?

It was a stupid idea on the part of Perreira and should not be tried again.

Ronaldo if I could be certain that he wouldn't get injured again next season then I would take him back in a heart beat, fat or not, he will score you goals.

As for options, I think there are plenty of them, Crespo is a free agent, and is twice the player Boriello will ever be no matter how old he is. There's Sheva, who we could rip chelsea off for like we did with Crespo, ie. getting him on loan and playing for us while Chelsea still pay 3/4 of his wage. Which was genius on Galliani's part I must admit.

In any case we should keep Paloschi as a precaution. The season hasn't even started and Pippo has already started with what will be the first of a long line of injuries this coming season, Boriello injured or not I just don't trust that he will be able to deliver. And Pato will get an injury here and there like last season.

I even recall him meeting Roman Abrahimovic and saying that the only way Sheva could come back to Milan was if he came for free. I mean that's pretty cheap of him giving statements like this while he represents our club. Shame really. What with us priding on being the classiest club around.

Exactly, he's tarnishing our name with all these comments, if he wants to try and get Sheva for free, then fine but do it in private, and if you manage it by some sort of miracle then announce it and show the world how goo you are at ripping off Chelsea, but otherwise shut up

I sometimes think the C in AC Milan stands for charity. dry.gif

Wanting things at the right price is something, while trying to get them cheap is another. Demanding free stuff while you lead a multi-million dollar entity is just meh. Thank you, Fester. Carry on, son.

I dont think that another striker will come just because Borriello got injured. We still have Pato,Dinho,Kaka and Pippo. Borriello isnt even the first choice.
whoarethepatriots
Its highly unlikely that another Primavera player will be promoted, so i can see a freebie or a loan acquisition. Personally i prefer a loaner rather than a freebie, unless the player is binded by a one year or less contract

Thats not too bad, when will Inzaghi and the olympians be back?

Kaka will probably rotate with Paloschi as an auxiliary striker until then or until Inzaghi/Pato comes back, whichever is sooner

swear1.gif (I like this smiley too) Well...do we let the kids show what they can do til Pippo recovers and the Brazilians return or do we buy (or loan) a striker? Even with arthroscopic surgery (it's supposedly the outer meniscus that's damaged), Borriello is likely to be out of action for at least 1 month and probably more.

True, but The Bald Ego was particularly shameless with Borriello, even having the cojones to say he was better than Huntelaar. At the same time, I think he forgot that those 19 goals were scored with Genoa.
acid911
Yup. Gotta admit, he really outdid himself there. sad.gif I hate to hear such comments from the man who leads my favorite club. Bori is not even half the player Huntlear is, and the way things are progressing he'd be lucky to call himself that for the foreseeable future.

You score 39 goals with a Serie C team doesn't mean you'll do the same with best club in the world. Prove me wrong, Borriello. For once prove Galliani right. sleep.gif
Jack Sparrow
Get Larsson. He seems to be a lucky mascot for just about any team that loans him. biggrin.gif I really do hope we loan someone for 6 months. The thought of a team with absolutely no aerial ability in attack is really sad. Especially with people like Pirlo, Seedorf and Ronaldinho making assists.

Even that Voronin guy wouldn't be so bad. I mean it's way out of line to expect to get a consistent goal scorer on loan for 6 months. Of course knowing Rafa, Voronin will cost as much as Eto'o! rolleyes.gif

If it were upto me, we'd try getting Montella or Vucinic from the Giallorossi.
