Han, I know you always back the team. However, you shouldn't look into only this game, you must look into our serie of matches.

What we have now? No leader, no form, no spirit, ... We need a fresh wind. The extension of Carlo last season is a bs ... I swear.

Yes han , but the problem here is that we have been lack of wins the season so far, that another defeat is not a joke anymore, and you will see, that will have a lot of problems facing torino, and using la prima squadra, and the same topic will come to life here, is what we are talking about all time , is our main concern, the main topic.

yuor point is reazonable, more if you say '' hey wa have the ucl final around the corner and the serie A is lost already'', but is not the case, the can get smacked the next round, and belive me im really sacared about that , becasue the seria A is not an option now, lets be honest, and coppta italia might be out redemption.

A defeat like this is certainly not something to be proud of, but I'll say it again I was expecting it.

And I know what you are saying, conserving our energy in this match doesn't mean that they will come out all guns blazing in the Toro match, and it doesn't mean that we will win it either.

Bu i still can't see why all this commotion has come up, we where complaicant and played awful, and that's where my theory of them not even trying comes from.

But my point still is, why go all out to get a win you don't need when you could be risking players you desperately need fit at the moment? it's just not worth it imo.

And about the CL KOs, we'll see what transpires during the transfer window and how we will come out playing after the break before we start talking about getting spanked

Oddo would still come he's a Milanista at heart and he would do anything to wear the Milan shirt.

Oddo and Suazo should be out January targets. They would come for probably less then 20mil€ together, like X said, some thing that should be well in our price range considering we just made 15 million pounds from qualifying from the group stages of the CL.
*

5M for Oddo and 15M for Suazo? When other big clubs asked Cagliari they wanted 25-30M for him... rolleyes.gif

But if we want to get the 4th place we must buy them. And probably a center-back too. And I wouldn't mind a keeper.

Here's my Xmas list:
-Foward (Suazo?)
-RB (Oddo?)
-CB (...?)
-GK (...?)

Well let's hope we're right, because this is getting really messi game by game, the point is like X said , and as many has said it also, if galliani, berculconi, braida, milan itself don't bring new players for this transfer window , milan won't acomplsished anything this season.

Well I used to back them up when they where JUST drawing 0-0s and everybody was already coming to conclusions about the team being sh!t.

But what happened in this match really doesn't bother me at all.

Did I want us to win? Of course I did, I even would want them to win a stupid pre-season friendly.
But did I expect them to win or to come out fighting in this match? Not really.
Was I annoyed and frustrated when we conceeded 2 stupid goals that could have easily been prevented if our head was in the game? Definately.

Right now all I'm waiting for is for the winter break to come and hopefully with it confirmation of some of our starters being recovered and regaining fitness and at least 2 signings

How about this?

-Foward (Suazo?)
-RB (Oddo?)
-CB (Barzagli?)
-GK (Sorrentino?)

About the Suazo thing, 25 mil€ would still be able to be covered just be using the money from UEFA and maybe pulling out 5 mil from our own pockets, and another 5 mil for Oddo, it's strill in out price range and if our managemet had any sense they would try and get these 2. Money shouldn't be a problem for us considering how much we made from selling 3 top players and not having to pay their wages anymore and the bwin deal.

Barzagli should be brought in in the summer, I don't think we currently need another CB the fullback areas are much bigger problems.

And getting Amelia to sit on a bench for the whole season after Dida returns would be pointless seeing as he is still developing and needs his playing time. sorrentino would be great to have as a second choice keeper, a hundred times better then Kalac.

Dida would have recovered by the time the CL starts up again.

I just don't see the point in getting someone like Amelia or Buffon while we still have Dida, if we have confirmation of what he will do with the contract situation then the management will move from there and decide who they want to replace him with.

Sorrentino is a good keeper and would be very reliable to have as a second choice

It's just hard to fill up the San Siro to full capacity, when you compare it to most stadiums in England it is twice their size. So it would be twice as hard to fill to full capacity if it's not a big match.

Like Stamford bridge for example, what's it's capacity, something like 40,000? And it's not always a full house. Now just imagine what it would take to fill a stadium that can hold over 80,000 spectators every weekend
*

Well, I don't think this is our main problem. 25.800 people during in a CL match? This is like nothing. When we played against Brescia there where only 1.800 (!) people in the stadium. This is joke. People are p!ssed because of Calciopolli and our recent performances.
1800 people? There are people watching games of my local club which is playing in the 4th league, in a city much smaller than Milan.
An I know for sure that stadiums in english and german stadiums there are much more people even at league games. In Dortmund for example, which is playing really crappy right now, there are 80.000 people wtaching their games every two weeks. And even Schalke could sell 120.000 tickets for their home games if they wanted to.
I don't know exactly why there are only 25.000 during a CL tie, but this is not normal...

As for the winter I don't think we'll be able to sign Oddo or Suazo. Cagliaris demands for Suazo are insane, and Galliani surely doesn't want to spent big...
And I could understand if Oddo doesn't want to join us. In the summer he almost begged for a transfer and we didn't sign him...

Why doesnt Galliani try and buy players. Doesn't Milan have alot of money apart from the sheva transfer(45mEuro). Oli couldnt cost more than 10m. I wish milan would buy

RB: oddo

CAM: Diego

theres rumors galliani is ripping money off. oli was over 10 million + vogel which it pretty strange when in my opiniion vogel is still a quality player and pretty close in value to oliveira. who know maybe that bald loser keeping a lil extra for himself?

The next round is going to be played in February. 'Till then the situation would have totally changed. Don't worry, after the Christmas break you're going to see a different Milan, I assure you of that. wink.gif

And han, I couldn't agree more with your post. It's all I've been saying the whole time, this was more of a training session than a real match. The guys didn't care at all, they probably had their heads on the Sunday match against Torino.
*
bigmacmtl
considering money seems to be the main concern for milan rigth now if they start losing money from ticket sales and merchandise cuz we suck then they'll have to invest. over here for hockey things are different. for us a season of hockey each team plays 82 games in 6 months + playoffs which can last up to 2 months. but the thing is it's hard to build big indoor skating rinks cuz the quality of the ice must be kept so the the building can only be a certain size, hence the capicity is never more than 20 000. so that means every game is sold out. in toronto ( which i hate dearly, even more than juve and inter combined) it's almost imporssible to get tickets for the next 5 years cuz they're so high in demand. so the guys who run the team couldnt care less about how the team is doing cuz they're making sooo much.

Correction Sheva cost Chelsea something like over 60m Euros.

A CAM is not needed imo we need a forward and a RB much more.

Oddo and Suazo are the best options out there for January, both don't have to adapt to Serie A and neither is cup tide.

With the money we have we should be able to afford these easily.

And about the attandences, yes it is bad, Italy always suffered in this aspect and the calciopoli in the summer continued to help the situation. Us laying bad right now doesn't really matter, and it doesn't affect the merchandising either, look at Real for example, they have sucked for these past 3 years and they still are one of the strongest clubs in the marchendising buisness.

Milan stars' Mea Culpa

Kakha Kaladze and Cristian Brocchi confess the Milan players could’ve done more against Lille last night.

“We are disappointed, above all because we didn’t like the way we approached this game,” said the Italian midfielder of the 2-0 home defeat.

“Every one of us is aware we could’ve done more. At the same time, we know what we’re going into for the rest of the season and that you can’t always be on top.”

“This is a difficult time for us with many injuries and others playing with niggling problems, but that doesn’t excuse this kind of a performance. Many of us played tonight gritting our teeth because of an emergency situation, as we would’ve been rested in other circumstances.”

The result did not change the Rossoneri’s campaign, as they were already secure of top spot in Champions League Group H.

“It’s certainly our fault as players, but every one has to take their own responsibilities and realise there is more that can be done. Now there are four games left before the Christmas break, which will allow us to train hard and recover physically.”

Brocchi also denied that the newspaper speculation over massive January changes to the squad was affecting concentration.

“When things are going well there is transfer talk because they want to lure Kaka away. When they’re going badly there are rumours we need new players, so either way Milan are going to make headlines.”

Kaladze admitted it was hardly a vintage performance, but insisted this was not something to get concerned about.

“It’s certainly not nice to lose a Champions League game, especially when you’re at San Siro, but this match counted for nothing as we were already qualified. So we hope to put this terrible performance behind us,” said the Georgian international.

“The club will think about the transfer market in January, but it is bad for us to have so many great champions out of action with injuries. All the remaining teams are in the competition strong now, but nobody is unbeatable in this sport, not even Barcelona.”

How come you people speack about Oddo, he's a 30 yo player!!!!
Plus some of you think we don’t need an attacking midfielder, haven't you seen the last 2 games?
We played with a flat midfield system and it was awful, do you really think we have a sub for Kaka', Seedorf is too slow and Gourcuff is still too young, so I think we definitely need a young experimented CAM just as a RB and a Sheva type forward!

Milan played some of their best football with Kaka and Rui behind Crespo or Sheva. It's just a matter if they are able to work with eachother.

We only stopped using that formation because of Silvio's 2 striker rule
