This really really sucked! Everyone lookes so f@cking exhausted! It reminded my a little bit of my own recent football games, and I couldn't say anything worse about a team!

How can a team like Milan lose points against Livorno?

OK. We're going to be 8 points behind Inter, 7 behind Roma and 10 behind Palermo if they win. This at the 4th round of Serie A.
*

we did start 8 points behind everyone else wink.gif

No man .. I would rather we lose 3-0 and play beutiful football, than play whatever crap we were playing .. This is pathetic .. What our best players were Kaka and Dida !!! But what about the other 9 players ?!

We always played tough games, but were organised, some we lose some we win .. But to play the way we did was ridiculous

bad game that one was ... dissapointing ... our dtreak was to ended someday but I'd rather have it on Tuesday!!!!

We looked pretty solid defense-wise with only one chance created by Livorno (Nesta really is back for good) but creatively that was the worst game we've had for a long time ... Kaka and Seedorf looked pretty tired, the latter probably thought we leaded the game cause he always went for control of the game's pace even on counter-attacks ...

And I really can't figure out why in God's green Earth did Carlo waste a sub to bring Marek in ?? What for, couldn't it be Gila ? Oliveira needs to wake up or the next time I'm really going to believe he's just an agent-pleaser !! rolleyes.gif

This is just funny... laugh.gif How do you expect your team to win every single match? huh.gif It's not like we lost... Some of the platers were too tired, like Inzaghi and Kaka and others underperformed, Oliveira, Ambrosini, Bonera. I seriously can't be mad at Milan. We will bounce back soon for sure.

It's never an ambitious move to play Rino and Ambro together. Although if we're 1-0 up with 20 or so minutes to go then I have no problems with the pair of them together. It would make more sense to drop Seedorf and play Kaka and Gourcuff together wink.gif

No. But against a team like Livorno?

It's obvious that a team that challenges for the scudetto, and are trying to climb a mountain (initial -8 pts), cannot lose points against teams like that one.

Oliveira still has to settle and so deserves a little more time. I'm more worried about Pippo though as it seems again that he missed quite a few chances again tonight. We need them to take these chances until Oliveira is settled in, then we can rely on him as well.

I agree, I think I'm Carletto's biggest fan on here, but Milan, playing the way they did, give or take, it was his fault.

First and biggest mistake was playing Favalli instead of Janku. Favalli IMO killed the game in that area of the pitch for us with his slow-mo runs...

Second big mistake was NOT playing Gourcuff instead of Ambrosini. Ambrosini is REALLY dissapointing me with his recent form and way of playing. It's aweful!

Third mistake was not playing Gilardino instead of the exausted Inzaghi.

And there was also Maldini's injury which wasn't his fault.

In the end of the day, even with those two victories, we might still end trophyless ... so what? How many teams do you think can come up from an 8 point deficit and win the championship ?? Definetely no team in the world right now !!!

Pitiful performance, but somehow I was excpecting it. Since the first half ended I knew we weren't going to win this one. Our players were exhausted, they barely could run. I blame Carlo for this, I blame him for not putting Janku from the begining, I blame him for not changing Ambro and I blame him for not putting Gourcuff. Don't take this as a personal attack, I'm just expressing my opinions. In overall, the team played poorly. Now let's raise our heads and look forward to Lille cause we need to win that one. Anyway, here are my ratings for this match:

Dida - 6.5 - probably the only one not to blame
Bonera - 6 - good performance but I wonder why he never crosses
Nesta - 6.5 - was solid, hopefully he'll catch his best form soon
Kaladze - 6 - nice job, but still needs matches in his feet
Favalli - 4 - worst player of the match
Ambrosini - 5.5 - he tried to do his best, but it was obvious he should have been changed during the match cause all what he was doing was losing balls
Gattuso - 6 - Carlo shouldn't have taken him off, he was playing miles better than Ambro
Seedorf - 5.5 - no, no and no. I feel like he doesn't like playing football anymore
Kakà - 6.5 - I would have given him a 7 if he scored but still he was our best player on the field
R. Oliveira - 5 - pathetic performance, but I'm sure that's most because he hasn't yet got over the injury
Inzaghi - 6 - didn't do much but it wasn't his fault
Jankulovski - 6 - Carlo should have put him from the begining
Pirlo - 6.5 - only because of his awesome pass to Oliveira in the very end which Ricardo wasted cursedly
Ancelotti - 4.5 - after six great jobs, he found his lower level.

It's not just about gila though, Rino and Ambro together is too negative - both very defensive players. Seedorf had another bad game yet he's never dropped while Gourcuff gives us other optins in attack yet is benched. That is why I blame carlo.

I think this is awfully one-sided and over-protective on some players !!
Bonera gets a 6 and Favalli a 4 ?? Why ? Why ? Why ? Favalli was awesome out there, he is a defensive LB and he did his job just perfectly, they created nothing from that wing ... Bonera on the other hand made a terrible mistake in the first half and the fact that he's supposedly better than Favalli in attack was nowhere to be proved today ... like you said he didn't even cross ... he just came up once in a while ... so please give me some tiny argument why Favalli got a 4 ... just because he's 34 ? And then Janku a six ? he did do what ? We know he's good but all he did was a lame cross !! and last, Kakà and Inzaghi rated that high ? Inzaghi for a fact was more than bad today and yes it his fault, it's not mine by any chance ...
