Full Version: 26/09/06 - CL - Lille - Milan
Just saw the highlights of our match ..
We certainly deserved to win !
* Though the result is comparable to the livorno game; the difference between them, is that we had chances that were just inches wide of GREAT goals !!!!!
* I concur .. Seedorf's (offside) goal .. IS A GOAL !!!!! What's wrong with UEFA ?! First Barca .. now Lille !!! They are seriouslly pushing it !
* Kaka - man of the match (only thing missing was a goal)
* Gilardino came close on many occasions, but my opinion of him stands !
* Nesta what a block -- Applaus
* Dida, I don't want Gigi ! Dida seems to be the same Dida from 02/03 !
* Pirlo, too bad he cant link up with Gilardino, as he does with him on the national side.
* Carlo; I don't think we have the players for the x-tree formation .. It keeps on failing, our MDfield suffers a lot and pressure keeps mounting on our defence.

I think Gila made an impact in this game considering our performances as of late ... too bad he's utterly incapable of scoring ...

Just watched the HL and all I have to say is WHAT THE HELL IS EVERYONE ON ABOUT????? We were so unlucky not to win this game! Seedorf's goal couldn't be more perfect! I'm really pissed at the at lines man!!!!! 
Everyone tried so hard to score! I admire that and therefor I'm happy. Not happy with the result, but happy with the team. 
And really, some of you need to grow up... When we win you support the team, but when we get a draw you act like a 2 year old. Remember, I said some of you. Otherwise we have a bunch of quality posters here.

We'll have to be very careful. But we know how to play football.
I have just watched the highlights and thought we were unlucky not to win. Seedorfs was plainly offside(although the linesman was unsighted) and should have stood. A win would have been great but it wasn't to be 
. Still, at least we're top and we have a cushion, but our performances need to improve considerably or we'll end up trophyless again.

Well my man, I guess you watched the match to realise how many chances they wasted. Milan players I mean. Not to mention Seedorf's disallowed goal, what do you call that? I think the score should have been 0-2, plain and fair.

Trust me , kaka wasnt man of the match. Far from it actually. The only one i would consider being Man of the match would be Nesta. Kaka lost the ball so many times doing an impossible dribble ,so definatly not Man of the match.
Highlights can be deceiving , but milan played very poorly and a draw aint so bad.

We played a great game, and the ball almost never left our feet. The only worrying thing is our lack of sharpness, from Gila, Pippo and Kaka, Carlo should make them go through shooting practice for these next few days. They really need to improve!!!!

But seriously, I admit I was exxagerating a bit by saying we played a GREAT game, but we did play a good game, to just say we played a terrible game, without justifying it is not right.
We kept total control over the tempo, had the most ball possetion and the best chances of the match, not to mention a wrongfully disallowed goal.

Well I wasnt praising him Taki . Offcourse Keita wasnt man of the match , where did I say that ? But he played a very good game , and yes , imo better then kaka. Yes Dida was great too , him & Nesta.
