This is from calciomercato, does it say that Sobithat he will be going to Racing
*

Yep. He will play for Racing Santander next year, or at least that's what it says. Too bad, we were so close.
han2503
Well this is just great, to lose out to Inter is emberassing but to lose outto racing is even more emberessing, what the hell are they doing? we are desperate for a striker and they stop negotiations and let him go, and try to get Ronaldo????!!!
X-Offender
It is absurd, I know. I think Berlusconi was the one that didn't want Sobis. He wants with all costs Ronaldo, and that utterly sucks. He probably hasn't seen La Liga in the last two years to realise how sh!t Ronaldo has become and that he's not the one of 2002 anymore. He's just a big fat whale whose primary objectives are to eat and change girlfriends every two months. He doesn't care about football anymore.

This also confirms it, he will not come to Milan. sad.gif

Please translate, not everyone in here knows italian.

Damn, I hate that Berlusconi only wants big name players instead of quality ones. It's been like that forever. I can't believe that he blocks the Sobis-move just to make room for a Ronaldo who clearly sucks, plus he's unavailable at the moment and reportedly doesn't want to join Milan. I can't believe he's choosing a much older, worse, more expensive player in front of a great player of youth whose only dream is to join Milan. mad.gif And to think that he can get Roanldinho, that's truly absurd!
Man, I'm so angry right now!

Great, this is just great; all I needed was another heartbreak sad.gif

Now that I think of it ... if that's something more than a rumour why would he choose Racing over Valencia???

That's just stupid ... huh.gif

Well, perhaps I exaggurated a bit. But I can't forget that Berlusconi often, not just now, wants to sign big names like Ronaldo(whom he's been after for many years), Rivaldo(failure) etc. Of course there hasn't been only big names, but I think you understand that I didn't mean every single signing. Even though Berlusconi has made a great impact on Milan since he arrived 20 years ago(especially his money if we are to be frank), I can't avoid thinking that Milan would be much better off if he let Braida, Galliani and Ancelotti make the decisions regarding the actual football.

well I'm not concerned so much about reports. for all I know Racing might haven't even had any talks with him!!!
aaron
why can't we sign Sobis and loan him to Valencia for one year?
if that is the case to gain european football experience, i think it
will be a good idea.
dst
we can!! actually we can do whatever we want ... the thing is they seem not to be interested enough ... for anyone!!!

We'll know first thing tomorrow morning smile.gif

Milan have been tracking the Internacional de Porto Alegre star for some time but it looks as though Racing have won the race.

"It is sad to leave the club but it is part of football," the player told the Brazilian press.

He has not revealed further details of the transfer but according to Marca the move is a done deal.

Last week Sobis warned Milan that the club should speed up negotiations to sign him because he had interest from La Liga. It appears Racing were the most interested of them all.

Why tomorrow morning? First we need to know if we'll pass the turn or not, then if we will, it will take at least one week to close all the deals. So I think there's still plenty of time 'till we'll get our new signings.

Does it really change in anything for Sobis. Anyways I think that Milan is better then racing in every aspect no matter it's in CL or not!!!

No doubt about that, but the fact is that Silvio is the one who didn't want Sobis. Sobis wanted to come to Milan, the deal was almost finished, but then Silvio showed up and blocked everything. And guess why? Cause he desperatly wants Ronaldo. rolleyes.gif

Question: Rafael Sobis, the next one?

cause that's the way Milan do it ... you'll see if we get through, we'll have an officially anounced signing!!!
It will take a week to close the deals??? What do you think, they're just waiting there having no negotiations???

Assistant: "Oddo's agent is on the phone"
Galliani: "Tell him to call next week, we're no through yet"

actually that sounds like how things are done in Greece not Via Turati ...

Right, but I don't think we'll have an official announcment exactly the day after the match, which is tomorrow. We'll have to wait at least 2-3 other days before anything official. Well, that's how I think, I might prove wrong and we'll have Oddo since tomorrow.
