And if the Spanish media are right about Song, then what would be the point, we're up to our ears in DMs. Song, De Jong, Muntari and Essien (okay, the last 2 don't actually count as capable players but they're still bodies and wages to be paid, and not cheap either).

This Milan is not in the market the top clubs are, and we need to accept that. We're fighting for a EL spot next season and that's the quality of player we're after.

Thing is, none of them have actually been signed, it's the usual rumours of us dancing around the expected fees/wages issue.
