Really great post dru!! Totally agree with you one everything you said! I've been away for the entire day and imagine my reaction when I came on here and found out we sold Constant! Something like: (IMG: https://31.media.tumblr.com/48206d448f405f11480e71e840445872/tumblr_inline_n1twqdsVh51qg0dfy.gif) Good news about Perin as well, at least there's definite interest now rather than nothing And some decent news on the Robinho front, although as Trini also mentioned, we've heard this all last summer as well and we ended up stuck with him for an extra year as well. I'm still waiting for us to be linked to an actual CM who's even half decent

Agreed. He's the next big thing, 10M for him is nothing since it would be a investment for the next 10 and more years.

The Lopez loan isn't a solution
So I'm thinking maybe Genoa did not want to sell Perin this year so we have some sort of agreement with them for next summer, thus Lopez would only be a stop-gap solution that makes all parties happy

QUOTE (TriniKing_CE @ Aug 5 2014, 10:12 PM) but I'm certain I don't mind Constant going one bit. Well everyone appreciates a little consistency in life, Trini. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Steady, stable, continuous going, who would say no to that. Oh you were talking about the player? I'm glad he's gone too. Wouldn't mind seeing the back of Zapata too, provided we can get someone better. He's more mediocrity, just like the chap who left.

Meh, I'm fine with Zapata. He has certain qualities in a defender that I like, but yes..too many odd mistakes come along usually.

Agreed. 10m for such a young, talented, keeper is such a no-brainer too. Theoretically this guy could be a top keeper for the next decade or so, even if we don't keep him that long chances are we'd make big cash for him. It's quite sad that with the way we are now, even players we haven't signed yet I think about cashing in on.
