If Antonini goes I'd be very happy, at least we got rid of SOME of the dead weight in this squad. Too bad guys like Traore and Muntari are still weighing us down.

If we manage to get Kaka I'd be a VERY happy camper!

Selling Abate would be the biggest idiocy though!

Welcome Balo btw! Hope you don't let us down!

Well, it will be entertaining that's for sure. Hope he'll finally find his place and grow up.

We potentially have Italy's forward line for the next decade.

Even that doesn't make you stupid. Not at his age. You're saying between the age of 17-22 he should have cut all the nonsense out?

Nah, too young to truly learn. From here on in is where he can be properly judged. He will still have rash moments and get sent off. It will happen.

But I just feel this environment does tend to calm trouble makers. Cassano was a well-known hot head and he behaved while here.

I'm pleased with this signing and willing to give him my full backing.

It could be just immaturity but he seems to be doing even more stupid stuff than he was doing at Inter... anyway... I don't care about that now, I hope he will be proven a great signing!

We've reached our CL goal. Now we need to reach our League goal...

Need a CB. Astori would be fine.

I think Mexes, Zapata, Zaccardo and Bonera is a decent enough 4 though. I'd rather spend money on a proper LB, I'd like to see Constant in the middle more.

Astori is mediocre, and we're not gonna sign a CB anyway. Zapata-Mexes are more than fine.

By the way, Balotelli has shirt #9 on the Milan Store. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Balotelli will train tomorrow at Milanello, play a friendly on thursday and be presented on Friday.

So who wants to open a Balo thread?

QUOTE (dst @ Jan 29 2013, 01:53 PM) *
Seriously? Anything but? There's dozen examples that show he's exactly that. What he's had to overcome is irrelevant to his smarts (or lack of).

QUOTE (Danny @ Jan 29 2013, 05:06 PM) *
Being a hothead doesn't make you stupid. Neither does being immature.

I really think he's stupid. You have incidents like the Christmas thing with Tevez, his famous shirt episode and a dozen of other cases where you see how limited he is and how rarely he thinks with his head.

QUOTE (han2503 @ Jan 29 2013, 07:32 PM) *
Any talk of Kaka going around?

Because if Kaka does come we could be looking at a REALLY strong attacking line, back to one of the best in the league imo

I'm pretty sure Galliani and Co will treat him with kid gloves, make him feel loved and all that.

Allegri is my only worry. If we want to see a good relationship between the 2 then it has to be like the one which Allegri had with Ibra, i.e be the submissive party in the relationship unlike what he has with the rest of the team. Trying to strong hold Balo would be a terrible mistake.

I think the kid is a great player, with an even greater future ahead of him, but he needs to apply himself and work for the team. If not, his inclusion scares me more than anything else

Good god, with Kaka signed this would top all summer periods for the past few years and I think would become the best winter transfer period ever. Just think - we got rid of our 2 worst defenders, secured a good backup and a potentially good fullback, then signed two stars.

Allegri is my worry too. But Ibra shows us, I think, how Allegri will act. If Balo manages to make a immediate impact, Allegri will stick to him under all conditions and circumstances.

QUOTE (Bluesummers @ Jan 29 2013, 07:52 PM) *
I don't think its kaka but maybe, Robinho may be going as well.

If Antonini goes we've already secured antonelli. So that could happen too.

Haha, Genoa again.

I'll do it, but only when it's official.
