I agree FIFA have no power now. The only thing they had the power to do, they got wrong anyway. I don't think countries should be rewarded in the hope they change. They should be rewarded for changing. FIFA/UEFA generally are backwards though, so it's not exactly surprising.

You make a valid point. And bare in mind that Hungary/Croatia were also contenders for the Euro 2012. But I always try accepting the reality of things, and now that we have what we have, we can only hope those Poliaks who've been so many times in their history let down by Europe will somehow change. |
