Playing for PSV, he is not as expensive as other good young players at bigger teams. He has the potential to become a true great player, and that is what we need. Milan has little to spend, so Strootman is ideal. He already played several games for the national team, and he was no worse than Nigel de Jong and Mark van Bommel. |

More of a Box-to-Box maybe than say an anchor man? I saw hardly any defensive plays to consider him a 'natural heir'.
