QUOTE (Dracoris @ Aug 30 2012, 05:58 PM) I'm almost certain that we'll make a signing tomorrow...probably a LB and if one of our other targets all the sudden becomes available for less (Diarra, Yanga etc) we'll probably snatch them up on the cheap.
Hopefully we'll also unload some excess tomorrow too (Mesbah) I like this positive attitude, but those are quite a few last day deals.... I think that with the crop we have, maybe with a playmaker (Kaka') we can be competitive in both competitions. Even if Kaka' doesn't bring the game that he left with, I think his name inspires fear. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/devil.gif) As far as the LB position goes, I'm pretty content to have De Sciglio get time in that position. I think that other holes in the team need to be covered by youth. If we don't give them their shot now, they will never get it here.

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Aug 31 2012, 02:18 AM) I still don't see it happening. If we were going to make a last minute offer to Madrid for Kaká, then we would have waited just one more day before giving shirt #22 to Bojan. IMO this little, "irrelevant" fact seals it. It's ok not to trust it, each of us have their opinion and their "scale" at which we believe things. As the guy told us and we wrote in that news he heard the option being talked in Milanello but he told us not to get much exited and to wait and see what happens, so soon we will see what happens. As for the number, as everyone here said, that's not a big deal, not anymore. Except for the 3rd and 6th all other numbers are open to anyplayer and the coach/club can assign it to whoever it wants. I didn't see the need why Pato would have to get his number changed from 7 to 9 which he inhereted from Sheva and somehow created a connection with it but he got the change together with Boateng, Robinho and others, starting to get straight numbers from the first. That means that, if Bojan didn't get the 22, we'd still leaving and wanting desperatly Kaka back, which would be a bargin for Galliani when they'd be discussing for Kaka. I'm not sure what are his strategies to sign players but I'm sure he uses details like this one too. Nevertheless, Galliani and God know best on this matter. EDIT: Our designer already prepared a cover for our page in case of Kaka's transfer. We usually prepare one days before a transfer it's complated, we never missed once, it's a fact X-Off (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) (IMG: http://a6.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/421671_497443493617656_706285572_n.jpg) (IMG: http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/528033_498385866856752_785987320_n.jpg) (IMG: http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/292067_3930177607674_2072439101_n.jpg)

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Aug 31 2012, 03:11 AM) Galliani: "We're very happy about De Jong. He's a playmaker in front of the defense, one of the best in Europe, that's why we decided to sign him. He's the most important player to have arrived in Italy this summer. Now Montolivo can play as RCM. With these signings, I don't want any third place talk anymore. We've filled the gap from all the departures this summer. Once again, we should thank president Berlusconi. Without him, Niang, Bojan and De Jong would not have arrived". QUOTE (X-Offender @ Aug 31 2012, 05:01 AM) LOL, how can that possibly be a ploy? We're making a final offer tomorrow to Madrid (according to the source d'Arc posted). They accept or they don't accept. Bojan choosing #22 has got nothing to do with it. As a matter of fact, it's just proof that we've completely forgotten about Kaká. I don't think he'll come either, but not because we gave his number to Bojan. he can pick another number, no big deal. no one could imagine Sheva picking a number other than his legendary 7 either, but he did. Besides, Bojan can give up his number if Kaka arrives. the kid's probably gonna be here for one season only. give him a random number.

Nah. C'mon.
Wiki says he has never received a red card in recent times. Apparently he also has the best pass completion rate. He started off playing as an offensive mid apparently.
I'm actually starting to think there might be more to this transfer than I first thought.

I'm just sad we didn't get Rossi. I'd trade him for Krkić any day.

Don't forget Bojan is a loan and can play for us immediately. Not so much with Rossi.
