Do you guys still remember our defensive department during 2004-2005 season when we had:

Maldini
Nesta
Stam
Costacurta
Kaladze
Cafu
Serginho
Simic
Pancaro

and compare to what we have now ...

A lot of people said on Twitter that Cassano looked miserable most of the time at the team autograph signing yesterday. Doesn't seem like he wants to stay. Kaka could be coming to help replace him.

I don't understand what the guy wants? Milan lost ambition so he's going to the second ambitions club in whole Genoa?

If he's gonna start his usual shenanigans we must get rid of him as soon as possible.

He looks pretty demotivated tonight, too. What an ungrateful c*nt. I really want his sorry @ss out of here as soon as possible.

Shame, Cassano really is a wonderful player.

Kaká seems to become a Milan player anyway though, and with Kaká, I see no place for Cassano in the starting team, and then hell will come for sure with him.

If Kaká arrives, Cassano must be sold.

SkySport said talks with Perez today didn't go very well. Right now, the possibility of Kaká coming is very slim.

Clearly Cassano is disappointed that we sold Silva and Ibra and suddenly look like a mid-table team with the senators gone as well. some of our other players might feel the same (Prince, Pato, etc.) but we can't really expect Cassano to hide his disappointment. it's Cassano. his good behavior in the past 2-3 years has made us forget what a character he was. tbh I'm disappointed that he will probably go (even if he stays I'm not expecting to see him at his best anymore) more than with his behavior right now.

Milan have paid €0.4m to loan Cristian Zapata for 1 year. The buy-out clause is set at €6m. His salary is €1.5m.

It's an attitude I can understand if he was someone like RvP, who comes in from a team that's hit a plateau and wants to make a step up. Or if he is a youngster like I dunno..Ganso or Lucas who wants to achieve big things.

We got him in when he was complete poison, anathema in Italy and gave him a chance. Stood by him solidly through his illness, and even got him back to fitness so he could go to the Euros. If he does this now, and it's genuine what the rumours say, it's very very disappointing.

I just cant understand how Galliani says that we cant afford Ricky's salary ... from the moment that on January we wanted Tevez, still having Ibra and Silva in our squad.

Galliani probably said that, so he can have kaka's wages reduced, I remember him saying having Ibrahimovic would be impossible, but he came a month later

I think Kaka is coming 99%. Just the fact that Galliani comments on it at all should tell you something.

If Cassano's attitude doesn't change I think we should let him move on to greener pastures and bring in Damiao. He looks promising to me from what I've seen at the olympics and with the money from Cassano's departure we could up our offer a bit.

We still need another GOOD addition to LB, CDM, and ST in order to compete this year.
