Why keep them?

Pippo is clearly not even considered as a peripheral option by Allegri. Why give him an extenstion to spend another season warming up and never coming on?

Zambrotta also, I am one who still beleives that he's a better defender than Antonini and Mesbah. But clearly there is a reason why he's not playing, a reason as to why Allegri will most likely switch Antonini to the right side next Saturday instead of going for the easier option and replacing Abate with Zambro. Why extend a contract for him to stay on the bench for another year? He's clearly not considered as a viable option.

Seedorf, usually the fittest person from the oldies, a player who rarely got injured has spent this season in and out of the treatment room. He can't even offer his contribution when our first choice creator is not available. Montolivo will be coming in this summer to provide cover for Aqui. Why renew with Seedorf when he's clearly not up to the task anymore?

Don't get me started on Ambro and his pea-brained decisions on the pitch. He's the reason why we have one foot out of the Coppa Italia to those dirty zebras. Sometimes when I watch him I wonder why he just doesn't pull on the shirt of our opponents in the first place.

Rino is a lost cause. They don't even know what they're doing with him and his issues. Add to that the fact that he's not getting any younger and hasn't played any football in months and I really don't see the logic in signing him on for another season.

Finally, we cannot forget that all of these players are on high wages. Galliani complains and complains about the players wages and how much of a financial strain they are on the club, yet we're keeping these guys who offer us nothing on the pitch for their ridiculously high wages. I mean most of them are on a better wage than Pato, Aqui, Nocerino, Abate, etc FFS!!

Renewing with them just does not make any sense

Inter’s Sneijder paired with Milan

The Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport are both suggesting that Wesley Sneijder would ponder a switch from Inter to city rivals Milan.

The Dutchman is expected to be sold by the Nerazzurri in the summer as they start another new era at San Siro.

The 27-year-old was linked with a transfer to Manchester United last summer and the Premiership giants may still be interested in the playmaker.

However, according to stories in the peninsula on Friday, the midfielder is thinking about a move to Milan – given that he and his wife are settled in the city.

Sneijder is also said to be good friends with Milan midfielders Kevin-Prince Boateng and Mark Van Bommel.

The Diavolo have yet to make a move for Sneijder though and it is unclear whether Inter chief Massimo Moratti would OK such a switch.

Moratti still has some regrets over his decision to release Andrea Pirlo and Clarance Seedorf to their city rivals in the past.

Sneijder has had a problematic campaign with the Beneamata this term, scoring just one goal in 15 Serie A appearances during a season affected by injury.

Inter netted Sneijder in the summer of 2009 after paying Real Madrid a reported fee of €15m.

Agreed, if we could get him for a decent price we should jump at it. He's world class but in a bad environment, he's clearly unhappy at Inter. I think he would do well with us.

Having said that, his injury issues and our medical team would make for a Pato like story in most likely cases

Lol, just as I've always thought. Galliani does not see the AM position as a pressing issue!

How can he say that Urby is doing well there? Maybe against the Cesenas of the league but not in difficuilt games. He becomes a passenger. While Baoteng has been injured for 2/3 of the season.

We need cover in that area

True..but Sneijder is hardly cover. To bring Sneijder in, is to essentially force the team to play in the classic 4-3-1-2...with the playmaker as a reference point. If there's one thing Allegri hates it's for the team to have reference points.

Sneijder would be the final pieace to the puzzle. As the missing link has always been a top class AM.
