RMC sport news is now reporting that Leonardo (PSG director) is now including negotations for Ibra as well.

He wants a deal for the two which could be around the 80m mark.

Its not so much our state that will effect it, it will more of a domino effect.

usually when you sell a key player in your squad, it causes a negative effect in the dressing room and players become upset/uneasy etc etc..

Clubs usually address this by saying "look we've lost an important player but we will be replacing him with one of equal quality or better." This lifts the dressing and room and makes players want to continue with the club.

---

In our case its more were selling players to balance the books and we will not be bringing in any quality players. This screams out sinking ship in which most players, especially mercenaries like ibra will look to abandon ship sooner than later.

Agreed, thing is I think we will want to keep them unless they request to leave...like you said.We usually get a hot prospect or get some fading star to feed dem mercenaries.

Cassano:

“I want to play well at Euro 2012, then I’ll see if I will stay at Milan or not. I have an idea about this, but I’ll only talk to some people. I’ve not heard from Ibra for a month, but if he gets angry about Thiago Silva being sold, then he’s absolutely right. It'd be criminal.

“Without Thiago Silva, at most we’d qualify for the Champions League. Besides, people should be clear with the fans. He is irreplaceable and without him we lose 50 per cent of the team. The club might consider the money coming in, but we ought to be clear.”

I think this is Berlusconi's way of saying "That's All Folks" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

I don't think berlu wants to run milan anymore. I think hes trying recuperate some of the losses he's made in the last couple years and off load the club.

Ah, take Pato too for and I'll start watching PSG matches regularly. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Probably not as much as I watch Milan matches, but at least a lot of the French league than I watch now. Invite Kaka too if they can and let's have an AC Milan reunion there. Sounds like fun!

Oh, and welcome by the way Blue! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) Been a while, and it's the part of the year when you come bearing gifts. Gifts in this case being transfer speculation and news. Let's see how this summer window goes.

update:

So some details have arisen from the negotiations. Apparently leo offered galliani 47m + bonuses, but galliani refused the offer saying it was too low. Negotations are still continuing.

Boban (via google translate):

"Times have changed drastically. Best of Milan, now, they go to fix the financial statements and company accounts. A very sad message, which shows what has changed the philosophy of the Rossoneri over the years. Sorry just because Thiago Silva is a player that can not be replaced on the market , we speak of the world's strongest center. will leave a void that will be difficult to fill "

So true..
